I have a 1997 Toyota 2wd, 5 spd Rav4 I want to tow behind my motorhome. I'm not sure what equipment I need to tow it or if it is even towable. I've found references for 1998 and newer Rav4's but not for earlier models. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa

Hi Lisa: We just bought 2001 RAV4 and were told it could be towed, but older models could not. Best way is to check with Toyota, or www.towingworld.com, or March FMCA issue. Good luck.
