How do you get oil spots off blacktop driveway, completely. Everything Lowes sells is for concrete.

The simplest way might be to resurface it with the thin resurfacing compound you just brush on.

Get a spray can of carburetor cleaner.
Spray the spot and hose it.
If its old, you might have to do it a couple of times.
When it drys, its gone.
We had a friend that had a oil pressure sensor blow while on our NEW driveway - big mess. Used paper towels to blot it, carburetor cleaner & hose.
When dried, gone

Opps
On edit, don't try on blacktop

Carburetor cleaner on blacktop?
This stuff can eat much stronger materials.
The are two kind of stains: one is the oil on the top of the surface, that might get pushed over and stain additional portion. The best way I know is wet the area around the oil, so the surface will not absorb it and than use strong stream of water with engine degreaser or cleaner like simply green.
The stain, that penetrate the surface is much harder to clean and actually impossible. The best bleach for it is sunshine and on blacktop it became invisible in the matter of weeks. On concrete it might take long and couple cans of Coke to bleach it.

Most anything that is a solvent for oil is also a solvent for asphalt (blacktop). Kitty litter, TSP, powdered laundry detergent and dish soap come to mind.

On my concrete drive I use plain old generic kitty litter. If the oil is still fluid, I'll just drop the litter on it and let it soak up as much as possible. If the oil has soaked into the concrete, I'll apply the litter and grind it with my shoe sole. In both case's I'll let it set for a day or two. It's always worked for me. I can't say if it will work on blacktop or not. Good luck.

Asphalt is petroleum and rock. Don't use anything that desolves petroleum. I use a little diesel fuel and a scrub brush to disapate the oil or better to say spread it into the asphalt. Then after it drys I coat it with Henry's Drive Way Top Coat. I have 3500 square feet of drive way and this works everytime.

Well now that I sold the Ford Explorer with the leakey diff oil seal I can work on getting rid of the oil spots. The driveway is only 1 year old. I tried revive from wallmart and it just bleached the driveway, oilspot remained, Kitty litter just makes it white. What about a 2500 psi pressure washer?

Pressure washer will remove the oil residue, but not the stain.
And again, from the experience >> nothing beats Coke on those.
