What is the best way to clean both the awning and roof of a 5th wheel? My roof is not a walkable roof.

If you can't get on the roof, it's gonna be tough for sure. Using a long handled brush from a ladder and then rinsing will probably kill you, literally. Unless you have or can find some sort of structure, lift, etc. to get you close to and above the camper, I just don't know. Maybe you could sit in a tree with a pressure washer wand and let the wife pull the camper up a little at a time. You'll have to be creative I guess. Good luck.

tiggerr,
you could cut 2'x4' pieces of plywood to walk on.
make sure you sand the edges well so they don't gouge your roof.
this will spread your weight over a larger area.

for the awning use a mixture of 1/4 cup of regular dawn liquid detergent and 1/4 cup of regular bleach to 5 gal of water.
some people use a garden sprayer, i perfer to use a bucket with a long handle brush.
pull the awning arms so that the awning lays flat to the trailer side. brush on the mixture and wash off. then brush on again and roll the awning up for about 2hrs. this will get the solution on the bottom side. use brush again and hose off both sides very well to remove any solution, let awning completly air dry befor rolling up.
hope this helps, jim

I rented a 12 foot step ladder to paint my cathedral ceiling in my living room and stairs.
So you could either rent or buy one and then use a long handled brush or high pressure sprayer.
