We are taking our second weekend shakedown cruise with our new 5vr to Port Huron MI this weekend. Does anyone have a good location int he area to browse and dream about things we could purchase to make out new toy more enjoyable? Coming in from Canada just looking for ideas we mightn not be familiar with.

I haven't been there in a couple of years but there was a dealer/supply on the main drag in Marrysville.

We were just there Memorial weekend, stayed at Lakeport CG which is just 8 miles north of Port Huron on M-25. They gave us a small map with local places on it, and one of them was a RV supply place. I can't remember the name, but it was on Lapeer Rd on the north end of Port Huron.
Walmart is also on M-25 at the north end of town.
The Port Huron KOA is very nice and is located at 5111 Lapeer Rd. they should have any information on where you can go for camping supplies.
Have fun! The weather has finally warmed up!

if you keep going on I 94 past Detroit you will find Camping World in Bellville, MI. A drive from Port Huron, though!

If you keep going on I94 past Port Huron to Mt. Clemmons there is a General RV dealer. They have a pretty good selection of stuff. I have no idea how the prices compare to Campers World, but it will save you quite a drive if you are heading to Belleville just to get ideas.

from Port Huron to Mt. Clemens....approximately 45 mins when there is no construction.
    from Port Huron to Belleville.....approximately
2 hours or so when there is no construction.
    Right now on I-94.....Construction.
thru Mt. Clemens, Roseville, and more south of Detroit.
Unless you like to drive alot, check out places closer to Port Huron!

We stayed at the KOA Port Huron the week end before and like you thought it was a great campground. Was too busy to visit RV dealers but next time over will stop at Camping World in Belleville, just outside of Detroit. Love them stores.
