How's the gas mileage with your F250? Does it tow much better than your SUV? I have a 1500 Suburban I'd like to trade in for a F250

Hey, taxgod. Congrats on the new truck. That's what I'm looking for! All that I find have WAY more miles than 12,000. You must be living right.

You will love that PSD on the road. We get 10 to 11.9 mpg toting our 5er and we a about 19,600 GCW loaded and wet.

Next you will want to chip the engine, and open up the exhust to get a bit more stroker power.

Rattle-stink and smoke.

V10 is right. You will definately want to check out The Diesel Stop. Congrats on your "new ride". You should prepare yourself for the stares of others with Diesel Envy.

taxgod4u,

You can't use the word "yippe" when referring to your tough new diesel truck. "Woohoo", however, is acceptable.

desertfun,

He won't get "gas" mileage on his new F250. He'll be getting "fuel" mileage. Diesel fuel mileage is better than the same truck with the largest gas engine available, for all the manufacturers, but the amount varies with driving style. Come on over to the diesel side - you might like it more than you think

I got 13.56 mpg towing our 26 foot travel traielr over the santa cruz mountains in CA. and get 17.2 commuting!! I gots to turbo! what a difference over towing with a V8 explorer. It could handle it fine, but this is amazing!

I see you have a 2003 eddie bauer expedition...so do I. Let me ask you, would you pull a sprinter 30 foot camper with a dry weight of 6830 lbs? Do you think I will destroy my car? Please reply!
