Bruce Hoster Takes on Additional Responsibilities with Camp Club USA

(Ventura, Calif.)- When Bruce Hoster joined Affinity Group, Inc. (AGI) in December, 1999, he signed on as President of Golf Card International, and has since been instrumental in further enhancing the success of the company. As a result of his numerous efforts and accomplishments, his role has been expanded within AGI to also include the title of Vice President/Executive Director of Camp Club USA.

The newest club to join the Affinity Group family, and the hottest new camping club in the industry, Camp Club USA offers members 50 percent savings on overnight stays at an affiliated network of hundreds of campgrounds nationwide. The organization has partnered with Woodall’s and Camping World, two of the most trusted names in the industry, to launch and promote the club. While Camping World has agreed to sell memberships in their stores, Woodall’s helps Camp Club USA select the best campgrounds in the nation to add on to their network, using their exclusive Woodall’s Campground Rating System.

Hoster joined Golf Card from Mizuno USA, where he served as vice president and general manager of the U.S. golf division for five years. During that time, he helped lead Mizuno through a period of record sales growth as a result of the successful introduction of the T-Zoid line of woods and irons.

Prior to his term at Mizuno, Hoster served as vice president of marketing at Maxfli Golf, helping launch the HT and MD golf balls, the Tad Moore putter line, and the Jan Stephenson collection of products for women golfers. His professional career began at McCann-Erickson Advertising, where he worked for several years on the Coca-Cola account.

“We are very pleased with the way Bruce has taken such an active role in our company,” said Mike Schneider, president and CEO of Affinity Group, Inc. “His dedication to his job and to our company has been evident since he first started, and we are certain that he will continue to do great things for both Golf Card and Camp Club USA.”
