QUARTZSITE, Arizona — The Good Sam Club is making its way to the 21st Annual Sports, Vacation and RV Show in Quartzsite, Arizona this weekend. As one of the only entities with its own showcase tent separate from the Show, the Good Sam Club will be offering several new products to make RVing more enjoyable.
Good Sam will be joined by Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service, Good Sam Continued Service Plan, Coast to Coast Resorts, Ganis, and AGIA. Representatives from MotorHome Magazine and Trailer Life, also partners with Good Sam, will be located in the main tent at the Show.
The Quartzsite RV show is the largest RV show in the world with an estimated attendance of 100,000 people. The 2004 Show, scheduled January 17-25, offers free admission to the public.
The Quartzsite show’s website touts the Good Sam Club and its related brands as “a big time and long time supporter” of the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. Good Sam has been represented at the show every year since its inception in 1984.
“We are showcasing several new products and services,” said Good Sam Club Executive Director, Sue Bray. “This Show is an excellent opportunity for us to meet RVers from all over the United States and Canada. We know that this is a great place for us to demonstrate our products and services to this ever-growing group of travelers.”
Trailer Life (TL) will introduce its 2004 TL Directory, a one-stop-shopping resource for complete at-a-glance campground and RV Park information. The TL Directory lists more than 2,500 Good Sam Club discount locations. The Directory also contains listings for 950,000 RV Park Sites, modem-friendly locations, local tourist attractions as well as a pre-inspected and rated campground index for the US and parts of Canada and Mexico. All visitors to the AGI tent will be able to view the directory and purchase their very own copy as well.
Revolutionizing the outdoor hospitality industry, Coast to Coast Resorts has recently converted to a new reservations system on the first of this year that provides a new way of travel for its nearly 150,000 members. Coast to Coast Resorts is a network of private and public RV parks and campgrounds. The new reservations system is easy to use and enables Coast to Coast Resorts members to save money when they visit any of the over 300 top-rated private CampResorts in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is in addition to the nearly 350 affiliated RV parks and campgrounds that are part of the Coast to Coast Good Neighbor Park network. Representatives will be available to demonstrate the new system to Show participants.
In addition, plans are now underway for the 2004 Great North American RV Rally to be held in Hutchinson, Kansas. Sponsored by the Good Sam Club, Camping World President’s Club, Coast to Coast Resorts, Woodall’s and MotorHome and Trailer Life magazines, the Rally is scheduled to take place from Monday, June 21st through Thursday, June 24th. “The 2004 Rally is going to be the biggest, best and most sought-after RV event,” said Bev Dalton, Rally event director. “There’s no place like Hutchinson. So, follow the yellow brick road to Kansas for the Rally,” continued Dalton. Quartzsite participants can sign up for the Rally at the Club’s tent at the Show.
A variety of Good Sam Club services will be on sale, including Club memberships and renewals, discounted RV show rates, the all-new 2004 Trailer Life Directory and a variety of popular RV-related books.
