(Bowling Green, KY)-- Camping World, the world's largest retailer of RV accessories, supplies and services, is soon to be available to RV enthusiasts in northern Florida, southern Georgia and southern Alabama. Emerald Coast RV Center (formerly Pepco RV Center), Tallahassee, Florida, is the latest RV dealer to join with Camping World to provide a higher standard of customer satisfaction.
“We are proud to embrace a new symbol of quality as a Camping World Gold Medal RV Dealer,” said Larry Taylor, Emerald Coast RV Center sales manager. “When you visit a Gold Medal Dealer, you are in for the ultimate RV shopping experience.”
The program launched June 2003 with Camping World’s first Gold Medal Dealer alliance with Alpin Haus, a major RV dealer in upstate New York. This partnership would set the stage for Gold Medal Dealers across the United States providing one-stop shopping for all RV-related needs. Emerald Coast RV Center is one of many Gold Medal Dealers to open in less than a year.
“These partnerships are all part of an effort to provide our customers with the most reliable and convenient ways of searching for RVs, RV products and outdoor equipment,” said Mark Boggess, Camping World CEO. “Each Gold Medal store is equipped with merchandise tailored to the RV dealer’s area, climate and needs to best serve our customers. Only the best RV dealers in the country are invited to be a part of our exclusive network, ensuring the highest level in the market. Pepco RV Center is one of the best.”
“The most convenient aspect of visiting any Gold Medal Dealer network location is that there is always a Camping World store right next to it,” said Taylor “That means you can take care of all of your RVing needs, from RV purchase to installation and accessories, in just one stop.”
The Emerald Coast RV Center Camping World Gold Medal Dealer will open its doors on March 15, 2004 in Tallahassee, Florida with grand opening events scheduled for April 29-May 2, 2004. The 4,200 square foot facility will feature the latest RVs, RV products, and camping equipment.
Pepco RV Center was established in 1976 and continues to win high marks with customers with an overall rating of excellence of 94% for buying experience. The dealer showcases and sells Itasca, Coachmen, Fleetwood Folding Trailer (Pop-up), Roadtrek, Sunnybrook, Trail-Lite, Starcraft RV and Campmaster.
Founded in 1990, Emerald Coast RV Center has consistently been a top ten dealership, in sales and service, for every recreational vehicle manufacturer represented. They have earned the Fleetwood Circle of Excellence award every year since its inception and have the honor of being the number one Damon dealership in North America.
Emerald Coast RV Center recently acquired Pepco. The Tallahassee location is the seventh dealership that includes Gulf Breeze/Pensacola, Clermont, Panama City Beach, and Bartow/Tampa, Florida and Robertsdale and Dothan, Alabama.
