Several of us took a 2 week trip to Utah and AZ. Locations included
Zion NP, Bryce NP, Kodachrome Basin SP, Capitol Reef NP, Goblin Valley SP, Natural Bridges NM, Monument Valley and a morning at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There are a bunch of photos so I will break it into several parts.

Here is a map of our trip

The first stop was Cathedral Gorge SP outside Panaca, NV.

We took a hike up Angel's Landing - way up there!

The lower section has modest switchbacks.

Then you hit Refrigerator Canyon - cool because it is in the shade

Then Walters Wiggles - 21 steep switchbacks
[image]

Then Scout's Lookout - a rest before the final push

Some tricky climbing with chains on the last bit

Wow, what a trip! Thanks for sharing. Did you camp at the North Rim? How was it? Could you share some CG pictures at North Rim. We're planning a trip there.

Thanks,

Bill

Some of our favorite parks are the ones you visited in Utah. Too bad you missed Canyonlands NP, and the 4-wheel drive down into it. We actually liked a couple of the Utah NP's over The Grand Canyon NP. Great pictures.

I like the view from your steep hike.
Good trip report. Just reaffirms the need for us to go see those places.

Thanks for letting us join along for such a grand trip. Any tips for making a two week trip such a success?
