Almost all Fork Trucks seem to run on propane in these types of tanks... I'd check them first if I was doing a new project.

Also... farmers co-ops might have them.

If you have them in your camper now check with your campers manufacturer to see where they get them or ask if they will supply you with one.. They are used on a couple of models of Lance campers and many of the Class C's and A's (even if these horz. tanks are much larger they will be made by the same manufacturers that you are looking for). Also phone Camping World.

I assume that you have already done a search on this forum.

Tanks

Somebody posted a link on here last year for a place that sold the horizontal propane tanks on-line, I can't find it. I bought two from Lance and they were $90 each several years ago.

You can buy them at www.uscarb.com . I think I paid about 3 times the $$$$ for a horizontal as for a vertical. Seventy four dollars ($74) plus freight http://www.uscarb.com/horizontal.htm

I found those tanks at a local RV shop that sells slide in
campers. I also found the guage does not function the way it should
in the Horizontal position, it reads 1/4 when the tank is full.
I called Manchester Tank and they were not able to assist?

That's not the place I was thinking of, but $74 looks like a pretty good deal. Thanks for the link.

I ordered two of these tanks from us-carb but no charges have showed on CC and no replies when I left messages. Are these people still in business-has anyone ordered from them before? I need to get these tanks from another place if I don't hear back soon. Steve
