More?!!?!?!

This is a low-budget TV / DVD / Stereo system I put in.

This is a $139.00 ebay special "Legacy" (oooh!) stereo that plays CD's, MP3's, AND DVD's!!

I hooked that to a 15" LCD TV (another whopping $179.00 on ebay):

BUT!, you say. No, really. Go ahead - say it: "How do you lower the pop top with that TV up there?"

Well, say no more. I used an "under the cabinet" LCD TV holder (more ebay - $22.00) in the opposite position!! I mounted it on the counter top! It swivels up and down, and 360 degrees around! To put the top down, you just lower:

it flat:

Top down!

Now that worked out SWEET!!

Saved a lot of money because we couldn't find what we wanted for a price we liked [emoticon] I like the idea of the all in one "car stereo" that will play DVDs. That sure was creative with the tv mount. I'm sure you will enjoy it all.

Beautiful!

One idea -- you may want to make a "cover" for your LCD to protect is from abrasion from your popup canvas and other things when stored.

I made a screen-protector for my LCD out of a piece of doorskin (very thin Luan plywood) with a piece on non-slip shelf-liner material glued to one side of it. You can see it in the pictures on my camper projects page (link in my sig block).

Best wishes.....
