Hi all we just got back from a short trip up hwy 88 across hwy 89 and down hwy 50. We were about 4-7 days late for a full bloom the cold snap has taken its toll our first nite low was 12 degrees but still lots of color left.

This is taylor creek salmon spawning there was so many that the water looked red

12 degrees at night? I'm glad I went earlier in the season even if it meant missing the color. That area is beautiful all the time. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Where was that first pic taken? Is that Silver lake up near Kit Carson? (Thunder Mountain)
