In October we took our last trip of the season to Middlebury, Vt to view fall foliage & return to old homested. Our campsite was on the banks of the New Haven river.

On the first day we walked through Middlebury center & the beautiful campus.
[image][image][image][image][image][image][image][image]
Day two we ventured out on RT 7 & surrounding areas to view a farm my grandfather once owned & other farms in the area.
[image][image][image][image]
Our last night at the campground was quiet, here's a few more pictures. Now our camper is home & winterized & looking forward to the next camping season already!

Nice to see the Farms. I live in Rural Louisiana on a SP Lake. There are many old farms everywhere. It's nice to see farms in different parts of the country. I lived in Maryland for a bit and there are many old farms there also. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the report - Your dog looks lovely [emoticon]

Haven't been to New England since the '80s; lovely to see it again.

Thanks for this nice report, sweet country and landscapes, I love it.

I saw that you added some "technical supports" (I can not find a correct translation) under the Bigfoot when you are unloaded. is-it necessary with a Bigfoot ? The floor is weak ?

Nice trip for the end of the season.
Very big truck for us in France, and very nice.
I find the trees are rather green for the season, is it usual?

Looks like a great trip. Only problem is the winterization and waiting for next season.

Sadly I will be doing the same this weekend....

What a pleasant surprise to read a Middlebury trip report this snowy morning!

Beautifully documented! We were at the Weybridge family farm (a 1.2 minute drive from downtown Middlebury) for close to a week in October (antiquing and a day at Lake Dunmore to photo fall leaves)! Perhaps we passed on the streets [emoticon]

Cheers,

Middlebury is one of those perfect small New England towns. All of Route 7 gives you great Vermont viewing. Thanks for sharing.
