RE: Getting very frustrated with this site!

If they would eliminate all the naysayers it would free up space for the posters with something to say that matters. :h

RE: Horrid experience Denton tx

Your complaining about CW is just like me complaining about our Goverment. No one cares or pays attention to the complaints. :S

RE: Good Sam credit card fuel limits

When using a credit card without a signature the card company limits how much they will be liable for if the card is bad/stolen. Some gas companies will cut you off at that limit because anything over comes out of their pocket. The limit the gas stations impose have nothing to do with credit card limits They are arbitrary amounts set by the stations, not the CC companies. That limits their losses in case of drive offs. How does one DRIVE OFF after they have run a CREDIT CARD?

Why did the Ford Dealer not repair the wiring while you were there?

RE: Hard Sided Pop Up Questions

Seems many looking for a easy towing hard sided RV are missing when they do not research these units. Many do but can't get past the sticker shock. :E Sticker Shock keeps many of us away from ANY RV. I have owned 2 MH but cannot find any reason too invest again.

RE: Hard Sided Pop Up Questions

I have researched them for awhile. Looks like the ideal unit, light weight, pull with numerous vehicles, and easy setup when you arrive at the campsite. They come in various configurations. Seems many looking for a easy towing hard sided RV are missing when they do not research these units.

RE: Nascar Follies

Maybe the pilots need to get out of the Citation and into a Mooney. They will learn how important airspeed control is in landing a plane.

RE: Nascar Follies

Question to ask is, why the bounce? Proper control of airspeed eliminates bounce. :h

RE: Hard Sided Pop Up Questions

Why do we not see anyone owning a Trailmanor on this forum? Seems it would fit the needs of most that comment here.

Great reason to stay away from purchasing any RV. Just a waste of money.

RE: Extended Warranty Not Covering Parts Cost

***Update*** So good news. Good Sams has agreed to pay the parts difference in whole leaving me with only the deductible, hourly rate overage and taxes. I know some of the comments here have been negative and sure I had to make a couple of calls but Good Sams made it good for me as I'm sure they do for others. Overall I'm happy with the outcome and sure glad they stepped up to the plate on this one. Thanks again to all! I am very happy for and glad this worked out. Your situation does beg the question, why did they not pay what they should have to start with? One could easily interpret that they are at best inept and worst deceitful. But what! This is Good Sam... inept and deceitful are part of the business model. Everyone keep in mind this remark comes from a "inept and deceitful" attorney but he loves CW.

RE: Where did my tranny fluid leaked from??

And your reman will do the same thing if you put it in the same conditions. Change your fluid, install a trans temp guage, along with a aux trans cooler. Keep your fluid below 200 deg. and continue on with your camping.

RE: Renting out your RV nightmares.

I told CRUISE AMERICA that they were CRAZY in renting RV's. They will never make money or find Insurance for their rentals. :h

RE: Loss of Transmission fluid

You need to add a trans. temp gauge so you monitor the temp of the fluid. I had a 1996 Holiday Rambler 36 ft that did the same thing. I added a Banks trans temp gauge and a extra trans cooler. Drove the RV from Ga. to the west coast, 7500 miles and never puked fluid again. Was told by a friend that owns a trans. shop this is a common occourance on this type trans.

I guess I am stupid but what is the difference in paying the tow co. upfront or re-imbursing me for paying for the tow out of my pocket. If I am paying and expecting re-imbursement, why would I worry about the cost factor? :h For standard tows, the tow company can only charge you the contracted rate IF you obtain them through AAA. If you get them outside of AAA and request reimbursement, the tow company can charge you whatever they want, but AAA will only reimburse you for the contracted rate - so you may not get reimbursed for the entire tow charge. My class C requires a medium duty wrecker to tow it. The rate for this truck is more than for a standard tow truck. So, even though I have the premium plan and get "up to 300 miles towing", AAA has a cap on the hourly rate. So, with the increased hourly rate, I only get about 110 miles before I have to start paying out of pocket. There are lots of little caveats like this with all the plans. So re-imbursement is not what it is stated. Why would any one purchase a contract that is nothing but a lie? Sounds like something the Gov. would provide.

RE: Was rear ended on the highway

It's past time to let your lawyer do the talking. Get the meanest junkyard dog you can find and turn it loose. I got hit from the rear many years ago and still have some neck problems . I unwisely just let my insurance take care of my truck so have learned a lesson. Be prepared to pay that "meanest junkyard dog lawyer" 40 percent of your money. Insurance Co. doesn't care because they will have to pay the money anyway.

RE: Using Propane while traveling in BC - Not Legal

Glad you made me aware of this. I was headed to Alaska next week. Since I found this IMPORTANT info, I have cancelled my reservations, sold my Trailer, sold my Truck, and given up RVing. :S
