RE: How to service a generator located under the rear of an RV
I had a 2002 Roadtrek 170 and had the same issues you are having. I ended up dropping the generator. My fuel filter was in the back left corner. I replaced it and the carburetor along with cleaning out a rats nest under the cooling shroud. When I put it back in it fired up on the first crank and handled the A/C and microwave without even a stutter.

RE: 1986 Dodge Falcon B350 questions
If you plan on keeping the RV for a long time I recommend you spend the extra and get either a Gel cell battery or go with LiFePo4 lithium battery. And also change out your converter to a multistage converter like Progressive Dynamics. Have you checked out PPL Motorhomes Parts store?
RE: 1986 Dodge Falcon B350 questions
Can you post some pictures of your water tank and fill? Can you see where the water line goes to when it leaves the water tank?
RE: 1986 Dodge Falcon B350 questions
Is your fresh water tank metal? If it is it probably pressurized with about 30 psi of air. Unless it was converted to a 12 volt water pump. It it's a plastic tank you have a 12 volt pump. Do you have a house battery or converter? Plug it into 120 ac and see if you have a switch somewhere that says pump or water pump.
RE: The warnings are there for a very good reason
Those Tourons are getting worse. Pretty soon you won't be able to drive through the park and have to take tour busses around the park.

RE: Replacing the house batteries...
I was thinking about changing over to a 200ah LifePo4 battery and placing it in the box under the step. It will fit with a little room to spare. Then taking and getting a metal box made to replace the battery box and turn it into a large storage area.
RE: Replacing the house batteries...
I have a 2018 Nexus 24P and have been dreading doing my battery compartment. Seeing your results has given me hope again and as soon as the temp decides to drop I'll get started on mine. Mine is rusted so bad I could only pull the tray half way out. I bought mine used in 2021 and the dealer replaced the batteries.
RE: Solar panel and battery noise
You are running two 6 volt batteries. They should be wired in series to get 12 volts. So the +VE should go to the positive terminal of the first battery and the -VE should go to the negative terminal of the other battery. There should not be a second +VE connection to the second battery.
RE: Cam lock spins
I have had mine round out. I took a thin square piece of aluminum made an oblong hole to match the lock and put it on the inside of the door and held it in place with pop rivets.
RE: Power center location (fuse & circuit breaker box)
You are welcome and keep the Winnebago website handy because it will come in handy later. When I had my 95 Brave I printed everything out and put it in a book that I kept in the RV. It had a lot of notes and changes I made to the RV for the new owners.
RE: Have you ever been scammed
I had one of those I'm your grandson and I'm in jail and need you to send me some money to get out of jail. I listened and wrote down everything he said. When he hung up I called the FBI and explained the phone call and that I don't have any grandkids. I don't know what happened but I never received another phone call like .
