RE: New Trailer with 50 amp service?

I'm looking at the HUGHES Autotransformer. It looks like I'll now need two adapters to use it. A autoformer can come in handy if you run into a low voltage problem but it can not do what a EMS can. Get a progressive industries EMS. I prefer hardwired.

RE: New EPDM roof

I put Dicor CoolCoat on my sister's trailer. It made a very good looking job. It goes a little further than they say. I was able to put three coat's on it with a little leftover.

RE: High brake light?

Not a high brake light. I added two tail/brake lights to my Jayco. The wiring came in behind the sofa so it was easy to do. https://i.imgur.com/GJGrPCYl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MHxiytSl.jpg

RE: Dehumidifier Question

I have a smaller (22ft) Class C RV. It will be sitting a little longer than usual this summer and I am thinking that the use of a dehumidifier would be a good idea. I have searched the forums here and on the internet and there are some good suggestions. I really prefer to get the opinions of the folks here, I trust it more. I live near providence RI and the humidity is usually above 70% and I have 30 amp shore power. I have been using this one and have been very satisfied with it.

RE: 30 amp 240 volt mistake!!

Yes, my converter was smoked too. It was a cheap one anyway, so I just ordered a new Progressive Dynamics PD9260CV Inteli-Power 9200 Series Converter/Charger with Charge Wizard - 60 Amp to replace it. You will also need a EMS I like the hardwired.

RE: Axle blocks for raising trailer

I can see issues with blocks if raised too high, or if blocks not of high quality. I would be hesitant to raise a trailer using the lower set of hanger holes without additional support. If the lower set of hanger holes will give you what you need you can put the X-factor on it also. I believe that all trailers need some kind of crossmembers on it.
