RE: I don't think it will start

Maybe you can get Phil Swift to 'Flex Tape' it back together? :B He did claim to cut his boat in half, and taped it back up? :S https://i.imgur.com/zkiSHUhl.jpg width=300 Good one

RE: Concrete driveway thickness??

:?:hThe compression strength won't have a lot of impact. The stress cracks form due to tension not compression and concrete is lousy in tension. Thickness and a good compacted base is where it's at.

RE: Roof Caulk Question

HEREAnytime you have a trim piece (or window frame) that "squishes" a sealer down, the correct repair involves removing the trim/frame and replacing the butyl sealer tape underneath it. 10 more years of trouble free sealing. It comes in different widths so measure. You will often need to build the screw holes back up with carpenter's glue and toothpicks. https://www.amazon.com/Dicor-BT-1834-1-Butyl-Seal-Tape/dp/B001FCB4JS/ref=sr_1_3?crid=SIFGQTQY9ZVF&dchild=1&keywords=butyl+tape+rv&qid=1594034925&sprefix=butyl%2Caps%2C229&sr=8-3

RE: how much is too little to spend on a Used Pop Up?

I have spent as little as $3000 for a pull behind pop up with a slide out that needed a good clean up and nothing else. When you find one you like have the owner turn everything on the day before you look at it. When you get there take a hose turn on the water and lay it on the roof while you are talking to the owner. If he says no RUN RUN RUN. Look under the cabinets for water damage. Look under mattresses for water damage. If ac is not cold it does not need a charge, it needs a new AC. Look for the DOT on the tires. It has a code that determines the age of the tires. Looks like this (DOT 1819). First two numbers are the week made and the second are the year made. New tires = $200 plus

RE: Oops ??

Look at the bright side, you won't make that mistake again. ;) Or if you do you will know how to hide it.

RE: 97 Bounder Steering Gearbox Leaking

Dump some Lucas treatment in it and see what happens. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500. Power steering pump started leaking and the fluid ran out in about 24 hrs. So just to see how good Lucas really was I refilled the pump with all Lucas. That was a year ago and never had a leak again. GOOD LUK

RE: What to look for in purchase and past water damage

Hook up a water sprinkler on the roof. THEN WAIT 60 minutes. If he refuses RUN.
