RE: Michigan state parks extend closures

I agree. Close the restrooms and bath houses if you have too. The motels never got closed. Im safer in my camper than there..Campsites are farther apart than motel rooms as well..

RE: Extended warranty. What are your thoughts

My DH works for a Ford Dealership and has a 2016 ford 250. Hes refused all extra warranties.. The FIL worked for 35 years at a Ford Engine Plant and he also refuses the extra stuff.. So I would say no....

RE: Traveling with a tailbone injury

They make inflateable air mattresses for car back seats might work? She could try and get some kind of waiver from her doctor to satisfy the law . I know my husband had a seatbelt waiver after his shoulder surgery..

RE: Anybody else have trouble packing for camping

We have a TT but my niece has a pop up... She has 4 to 6 plastic tubs just for camping.. She keeps them in a closet in the house... She has everything packed in those tubs. Two for kitchen (shes a huge dutch oven cooker) 1 for bathroom and shower, 1 for misc. 1 for backpacking stuff and 1 for clothes. I know she has clothes packed in one for her self and her husband.. When the 3 kids were younger she packed before leaving for them as they kept growing...They have had this popup since she was pregnant with the first.. She says she can shove a couple tub in the popup door when its down. The rest go in their van.. She keeps lists and updates them frequently.. She has a master list she keeps on the side of her fridge and each tub has a laminated list on top. she is very organized and they go camping about every weekend..

RE: Kidde Fire Extinguisher recall

If you have a boat check that one too.. They replaced both the TT and our boat extinguishers and since they were a different size diameter they sent a bracket as well.. No problems with them so far..

RE: Patio Mat Anchoring

Normally we have no mat unless muddy area or the pine tree debris is bad. Concrete we usually dont bother but we were in a site on Memorial day that was a muddy swampy mess. Puttin the mat out helped a heck of a lot with trackin mud in the trailer... WE put a cooler on one corner, grill on another, another corner was tucked under one tire and the third corner was stuck in the mud off the side of the concrete... We still had a good time tho lol..

RE: ? "Easy" Way to Clean Patio Mat?

This is the 4th year with ours got it from Walmart. Too big to hang at home. When wet we roll/fold it up and put in a large garbage bag, put in back of the truck and when home set it sitting upright in the garage with the bag open. Drys and ready for next camp. We do that all the time an have had no problem with mold or mildew on it.. Memorial Day weekend this year our site was a muddy. gooey ,swampy mess.. We ended updragging the big muddy mess of a matt over to the bathroom and hooked our small hose up to the outside spikot and rinsed all that off and put in in the trash bag. It dried like usual in the open trash bag in the garage..

RE: Missing monitor pannel and switches R-Vision trail lite 7212

Here’s drop box link to all the manuals I had with our Trail lite b19. I think they are all pretty similar. The main manual is pretty generic an they used it for a lot of models. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/80ol73gnx6urz4r/AAAPl-BDY42Ne3pjQqJkFgzIa?dl=0. you might find some good info in these manuals

RE: Cracked/raw pads

Bag Balm its in a green square tin with red roses on it.. You can get it at TSC or Walmart in the horse section.. My family has used it for over 80 years.. On us and the animals.. Takes the pain away and heals hang nails fast,Works on human rough heels and helps cuts and scrapes heal faster. Works on dogs sore paws and bug bites.. They will lick at the paws but I havent had dog get sick from it.. Ointment in tin will get more amber and clear as it ages dont worry bout any color change its still good..
