RE: Haul Master Hitch

I've used one for a couple years with no problems. Take your time setting it up. Not a quick process. I spent probably 4hrs getting it setup correctly the first time

RE: Independent Inspectors

If the oil has been changed and a coolant flush then the samples will tell you nothing. I pull oil samples before every oil change and I just sent in a coolant sample (Cat EC-1 Coolant) been in going on 5 years came back good. JR45 That's kind of what I thought

RE: Independent Inspectors

So I think we've found a coach that will check all the boxes and meet our budget. The fluid analysis is something I definitely want to do. Particularly for the engine oil and coolant. That being said, if the dealer recently changed oil and or flushed cooling system and haven't ran the coach significantly, will I really get to see anything in the results?

RE: Help determining value

As a reminder the forum rules do not allow for sale posts. I'm letting this one hang in there in hopes you are really asking for help in pricing and not a subtle for sale post. But any discussions about location, etc. cross that line. Please keep any comments limited the value of the trailer. Thanks! Fair enough. Not trying to sell here.

RE: 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38F

If that unit was still manufactured by the old Fleetwood it is a great unit. I was in Minneapolis when they unveiled the new Bounder. It did not have the old Power Platform. Instead it was a custom Freightliner chassis. Built similar to the American line of Fleetwoods . More under storage than any entry level unit. That Cummins is a good engine. I was really impressed with the new Bounder. Not many were made or sold as FW went under right after that time period. \ Moisheh Good info. Thanks

RE: Considering a Diesel Pusher - Floorplan Question

I looked at a few bunk house models at an rv show recently. Bunks seem to accomadate up to around 5'10" max. Dual couch models with fold out beds seem to be somewhat common. Also saw a few Tiffin models with a full size drip down bed over the cockpit. Believe those were gassers though

RE: 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38F

A 6,7 would be a ISB. I never heard of a Cummins ISH. Fat fingers and small keyboard. Meant isb

RE: 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38F

The Cummins probably is a 6,7. Not saying that is bad though, I'm fairly ignorant of the Cummins line of motors. Listing states "325 ISH Cummins". That the 6.7?

2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38F

Found a clean 2008 cummins engine bounder 38f. Anyone with experience with this era of bounders have any input?

Help determining value

I'm purchasing a Class A motorhome this year and moving on from my toy hauler. I've got a couple folks who have stated they wanted a call when i was ready to sell (friends of friends). I don't want to give it away, but I also don't want to take advantage of someone. Looking for some advice on where to start at asking price. Here are the details 2002 Haulmark Elite 2 Race trailer 22' box with Haulmark Escape package "gutted" and renovated when i got it in 2014.FRP walls, removed windows and resealed, replaced water damaged wall ply. http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/school-me-on-my-trailer.314772/ 3500lb torqflex axles with 6 lug ez-lube hubs New dexter electric brake plates <6 months ago Bearings cleaned and repacked with brake job ~2yr old load range E Tires <1000 miles electric tongue jack toolbox on a frame 50amp service 14' Dometic awning. RE: Independent Inspectors

I got a couple quotes for inspections and I gotta say I'm a little shocked. I can get a 2000 square foot house inspected by a licensed home inspector for a few hundred less than some of the quotes I received. I did however find some more reasonable quotes.

RE: Independent Inspectors

Check NRVIA under "Find an Inspector". Thanks! Didn't know the organization existed.

Independent Inspectors

I'm narrowing down options for a new to me class a. PPL Motorhomes in Houston area has some options of interest. Houston is about a 6hr drive for me. I understand they offer their own in house inspection/demo option but before driving 6hrs to look at a unit, i'd like to find an independent inspection service to look first. Can anyone recommend an inspection service in the Houston area? Thanks, Nate

Front diesel engine

In my hunt for a motorhome I've come across a Tiffin Allegro 38tgb with a front cummins diesel. First front diesel engine I've seen. Any concerns or issues with a front diesel I should know about?

RE: Hauling our motorcycle

A buddy of mine took one of the hitch mounted carriers like this: https://www.discountramps.com/images/xxl/black-widow-motorcycle-carrier.jpg height=400 width=400 and reworked it to make it more stable. He added two additional receivers to tied to the frame for more strength/stability. 3 slide in points now instead of one center mounted. Its worked well for him.

Going to look at a Journey 39z. Anyone have one and have any complaints? Any issues specific to this model to look out for? Thanks, Nate

RE: Flooring Installation

Anyone replace carpet with a glue down vinyl plank? I use it extensively in new home construction. Seems like it might be a good option. Thin, relatively light weight.
