RE: Anyone ever use one of these

I use forceps to open the relief valve. Set the relief valve at 11:00 with the 20lb bottle upside down, slowly start filling the 1lb tank holding the relief valve open until liquid sprays out. Gloves help.... Adam

RE: Feel Safe on Freeway behind this guy?

Not as stupid (or maybe as bad..) as mounting them or gas cans on the back of a vehicle. I've been placing a 2 gallon gas can on a tray attached to my rear bumper on my camper for years, what's the problem? And it's held down with a bungee cord too. Nobody has called 911 scared out of their wits on me, better to not clutter up an emergency line for a trivial thing. By the way, my gas can has never fallen off either...

RE: Removing decal residue from fiberglass

LOL, I use camp fuel or Kerosene. Won't hurt paint and we all probably have some. Use it for bug and tar removal on paint too. Adam

RE: Single axle TT's

For those of us in the Northeast, a side benefit is the savings in Tolls on a single axle trailer. The nearest toll bridge to my house charges $21 PER AXLE INCLUDING THE TOW VEHICLE. $63 for a single axle becomes $84 for a tandem axle. Heading south to the beach area is also bad. Toll booth every 20 miles or so on the Garden State Parkway $4.50 for single axle versus $6.00 for tandem... about six tollbooths between me and the beach I like. Cr@p, and I thought California ripped people off with tolls. About $28.00 to cross the Golden Gate with a 2 axle trailer. Other bay area bridges slightly cheaper. Adam

RE: Did we buy a lemon

All I have to say is... Forrest River quality assembly.... not. I do wonder how long the untreated OSB floor will last when driving in the rain. That OSB will deteriorate quickly into a soggy mess. OSB has to be by far, the worst sub flooring material available...cheapest too. AND the electrical wiring that is running threw the frame with no support, or grommets.. How long will it take to create a short ? LOL: My 10 year old OSB floor looks like new, same as the OSB floor looked in my last 2 travel trailers. They're all made like cr@p. The electrical wiring has the same grommets my previous 2 travel trailers had. They're all made like cr@p. Somebody forgot to unlatch a corner before raising the roof, that's all. Doesn't make it defective or a lemon, just an oops but either the dealer or buyer should have noticed this before taking delivery. Adam
