Garmin 1095 Mount

For those that have a 1090 or 1095, how did you mount it? We have a 2019 Tiffin RED 37BA and want to mount it to the right of the driver. Have not tried to mount it at all, yet.

RE: Should be simple WiFi question, but???

My home Xfinity router outputs both a 2.4 ghz band and a 5 ghz band... I am trying to use an app on my Samsung A7 tablet that strictly requires the 2.4 band. When I look at settings / connections, it only shows the name of the WiFi network in use BUT not whether it is the 2.5 or 5 ghz which both have the same name.. Any ideas on how to determine which one the Tablet is using? Thanks in advance for any help..
Didn't you answer your own question? The router admin page will tell you what is connected to what but if the tablet only uses 2.4, there is your answer.

RE: No DC Power after shutting down generator

Do you have a combiner in the bay. While on shore/genny, try a screwdriverquick jump (across chassis/house) to "jump start" your BB BMS.

RE: batteies

Maybe. Probably. What converter do you have? If it has a lithium setting, ...
I disagree. Most "stock" converters do NOT have a a lithium setting.
Might be a good time to dump the old converter and upgrade to an inverter/charger/automatic transfer switch.
Uh! That is why I stated it as I did. The entire reply and not just a few words. I don't think we disagree on this.
I probably should have said possibly, instead of probably.

RE: New (large) Kitchen Sink

See if you can find a butcherblock cutting board larger than the sink and cut it down to match.
If it comes to that, we would rather look for color match first, as we prefer the look of the solid color across the counter. Also, that would be a thin piece of wood, about 3/8", that would likely warp.

RE: New (large) Kitchen Sink

Wow looks good to me. Unless it really bothers you I would leave it as is. Or you can rout the corners and deal with the covers not quite covering. It's almost a pick your poison at that point (Poor corners or poor covers).
If you rout it out I doubt you would have to color match though. I think it more likely the pattern and color goes all the way through top to bottom. But you will probably need to sand it smooth and blend it in. Is that in your skill set?
Thanks.
These are our thoughts and why we aare not in a hurry to decide. As to matching, you are correct about color going through. The reference to color match would be if we choose to rout and have new covers made.

New (large) Kitchen Sink

We bought and had installed a farm sink (Lippert). It is basically the same, outside dimensions but without the middle divider there is so much more space. This makes cleaning large items and veggies so much easier. We do have some hospital plastic (wash) basins, which fits perfectly in half of the large sink, for washing small amounts/dishes. We may rout out the corners better but we need to color match first, as that would (almost) require new sink covers.

RE: batteies

2004 Keystone Rapter
Year make and model of your TT is not enough. It is enough to say that if you have the original converter, you probably do not have a lithium setting.
What make & model of converter do you have?
What type of camping do you do? This is important, as cold and heat affect lithium charging. I would continue to get smart on lithium batteries and their discharge/charge requirements, as well as heated lithium batts, before deciding on a brand/model of lithium batt.

RE: batteies

Maybe. Probably. What converter do you have? If it has a lithium setting, it will work but if not it may, if you can create a custom profile for charging.
There are also other issues. What rig do you have? How you charge may be affected by that.
Provide as much info as you can so folks can provide an informed answer.

RE: Lithium battery 800ah

If you find 800ah for $800, look real close at the warranty, battery specs, heating, charge/discharge temps and (Probably no) bms.

RE: EMS

Our $300 EMS has saved us from extremely low (97V) voltage. A surge protector would not have.
Same here though since Southwire bought TRC the Surge Guard equivlent is a very very close 2nd.. That's what I had.. Biggest difference is the Surge Guard the remote is... Optional.
Also some differences in the installation.
Ours was a PI at that time. We currently have a Hughes Watchdog. Both are good to limit or prevent damage.
