RE: Weight distribution

Cat scales are your savior. Read up on how to get different weight sets and then try them with various loading patterns of truck and trailer. The operator will usually tell you when the slack times are so you can mess with them without blocking truckers. Google "Cat Scales near me". A

RE: What size waste tank to buy?

Unless they have worked in utility operations, everybody seems to underestimate the weight of water (any color).

RE: Goodyear Endurance is 5 years too old?

We have gone through a lot of tires in the last 20 years and I switch the rubber on the big (13,000 pounds GVW) trailer between year 5 and year 6. I'm not risking a failure in the middle of nowhere and I'm too old to be changing heavy tires by myself. We did get GoodSam to come all the way to Tombstone AZ from Tucson one time, but three hours in the sun in July waiting for the tire truck made a believer. I do downrate my take-offs. Either for my son's landscape service trailers or on the local internet with the clear warning that they are cheap but should be considered for local use only! Good tires are like a good rain suit. Basic to RVing. A

RE: Broken Leaf Spring

3K per spring is 6K per axle which is more then 5.2K per axle which is more than 5.02K max load!!! You should NEVER run at max load anyway.

RE: Wearing under bedroom slide ???

Try aluminum plate. Watch out for the thickness of the plates causing the top of the slide to jam in the opening just as it closes completely. I tried 3/16" and had to remove them and go to 3/32". Plenty stiff. Google 'specialty aluminum plate'.

RE: Toilet leak Around the handle any idea how to replace

A seal kit should be available on Amazon or from a warehouse supplier identified on Google.

RE: Wearing under bedroom slide ???

Most Titanium owners have reinforced with construction grade aluminum. 3/32" is plenty thick. Do you have a plan for installing?? A

RE: Relationship between jacks and slides?

Your original problem is because the hydraulic fluid is used to lube the bearings in the pump. A common practice on construction equipment. Very low fluid = cooked bearings.

RE: Big Foot Jacks

You can try Mobile RV Repair of Florida (located in Longwood) (689)-229-8192 They did some work for me before I sold the Titanium and were satisfactory. A
