RE: Invisibrake for CRV

Mine is set for the suggested pressure which is about 65 psi. It has worked for me so far. The thing to do is drive then brake several times and then feel how warm the brakes are on the CRV. I don’t adjust mine for different roads. I have an 03 Honda

RE: Replacing Workhorse Brake Line

If you have hydraulic brakes, there must be bleeders at the wheels. If you change the brake line you will certainly have to bleed the system.

RE: gas line interferes with drain plug

My gas line has only a couple small screws to remove and the gas line is out of the way of the plug.

RE: House battery/Propane

House batteries should generally charge when driving or when plugged in. If you camp where there is no power, a generator or solar panels can be used. There is probably an app for finding propane, I usually don’t have any trouble finding it in the US

RE: capital one credit card

I think I just heard about a data breach with Capital one. Something to check on.

RE: air force one vs roadmaster invisibrake

The Invisibrake is supposed to send a small charge to the toad battery but I found I needed to add a 12v line from my motorhome to the car battery to keep it fully charged. It also has an led light mounted on the rv dash that comes on so you know when the car brakes are physically activated.

RE: Holiday Rambler Fuse location

My rig has fuses inside one of my upper cupboards for all the interior electrical items. I have a second fuse panel inside my battery compartment that has chassis related fuses. I don’t have any power to my seats but I did see a fuse block there for power seats.

RE: Toad on a Dolly

I put a base plate on my 03 CRV myself. It was about $600. ( always more in Canada). Was not that hard. There are company videos on how to do it. I also installed a Roadmaster Invisibrake system, about $800-$1000. Lighting kit another $100. My motorhome came with a Roadmaster tow bar so did not have to buy it. Run a fused line from the Honda battery to your front connector to keep it charged.

RE: Truck Camper ways on how to protect the toad

Those bras unless they are very tight against the vehicle let dust and dirt get under them and scratch the paint. I have read this a few times on this site. I have a Roadmaster guardian that mounts on the base plate and protects the car from road debris.

RE: Travel with Kill Switch Off

I put a bright led on my dash next to the step switch that flashes in my face if my steps are down when starting to move. I used a set of magnet switches on the steps.

RE: Black holding tank censors

I rinse mine with a wand that hooks up to a hose has a spinning head that goes through the toilet then in to black tank and flushes it out when needed. Cleans the tank and the sensors. It is available anywhere, Walmart, rv stores

RE: Canvas end zipper help!!!

There are replacement zipper pulls that open up and then there is a screw that tightens it. I have one and I think it was from Amazon.

RE: 93 pace arrow

I have a switch in one of the upper cabinets that controls one or the other a/c units to operate when powered by 30 amp plug

RE: 93 pace arrow

The grounding circuit for the jacks is at the brake release to activate the buzzer and light if it detects the jacks are down. The jacks might be up but there is a signal from the pump and solenoids that is saying the fluid is low and it thinks the jacks are still down. The light and the buzzer are powered from below and the wires going to them should just be grounds.

RE: low voltage in receptacle

There were a few of those power strips that were recalled in recent years as catching fire was common.

RE: House battery charging issue

Don’t forget to clean all the battery terminals and connections until they are shiny. They can look fine and secure but dirty connections can give you problems.

RE: Lithium Ion Submarine Batteries

The four old subs that Canada bought from Great Britain are diesel electric. There a a large number of big batteries in them. Sorry nightshift I have done many fire drills on these tubs.

RE: Six volt battery question.

I turn my house batteries off more than on. Once plugged in to shore power I turn them off until the night before leaving. They charge when driving my RV. At home I only plug my rig in to charge them occasionally unless we are planning a trip, then a couple days ahead. I rarely need to add water to mine using them this way.

RE: Need Replacement Microwave

I hope my old microwave ( ‘94 ) keeps working. I love that has only 2 dials, I don’t have to put on glasses to read all the buttons on a new one.
