RE: Hate being followed around

I found mine at an RV show, there were so many people looking that I never had contact with a salesman. That was fine with me because I wanted to look and when I did see what
I wanted I went to the dealer later in the week. I go to car lots after they close when I’m in the market for a new vehicle, that way I can look without someone breathing down my neck.

Squealing rubber seal on slideout

When opening and closing my slideout the weather stripping squeals when the rubber meets the two side windows. Does anyone have a solution? I was thinking of spraying some weather seal treatment on the glass to get the back side of the seal. Any ideas would be appreciated. No substitute for experience.

Charleston SC

This isn’t a camping question but I wasn’t sure where I should post this. My wife wants to go to Charleston SC next May for here birthday but not to camp. I was wondering if anyone has been there and where would be a good place to stay and be in walking distance to see the sights, shop and of course eat. Thanks for the help.

RE: RV Rentals/Accommodations St Pete in Feb?

Pickings may be a little slight as most of the west coast of Florida is still cleaning up after hurricane Ian. The other problem is that most people make their winter reservations a year in advance leaving little to pick from 2 months out. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

RE: The impact of Ian...

Thank you Charlestonsouthern a lot of people will be hurting here for a very longtime. I have a 30 ft TT that I just put a family of 4 in so they can have a roof over their heads. It’s times like this when you have to put others before yourself. I was one of the lucky ones, roof damage, tree and limb damage but I’m thankful I still have a house. My brother and sister in law lost everything and they’re both in their 80s. Thank you again.

RE: The impact of Ian...

It would really be nice if those parks that didn’t sustain damage would put up the Floridians who will be inconvenienced for months or years. I know it would be an inconvenience for you snowbirds to stay home one winter while we try to get our state back to the paradise you all like to winter in. There is a lot to be done and the less people getting in the way the easier the task will be.

RE: Travel Trailers vs Motor Home

I have no personal experience but have talked to a few people who have and they seem to be very happy with the switch.
