RE: Refrigerator Smell - Yuck!

Saturate a paper towel with vanilla extract put on plate or small bowl, and close door at least 24 hrs. Neighbor does this with his coolers and I'm amazed.

RE: Propane Tank level question

There is normally a black cap that goes over the top of that dome. If it was there then you would only see the green at the bottom, then when the tank you are running from goes empty the red would drop down into view. You are missing a piece, go to your local rv parts store and look at new regulators.

RE: Toilet burping

As far as your question about tank flushing systems. I have one they are not great. I have found that nothing works better than a sudden rush from a 5 gallon bucket of water with valves open, sometimes 2 or 3 buckets before water runs clear. Good luck.

RE: Virginia GCWR rules / commercial / travel trailer

If you are not commercial and will not use full gvwr then please explain fraud. With this situation might be better to stay in your own state.

RE: Virginia GCWR rules / commercial / travel trailer

I believe you have allready answered your own question. Even if you are not running commercial you will need to register full weight so that you will not feel you are committing fraud or afraid of being caught. Question was answered in your mind before you ever asked.

RE: Virginia GCWR rules / commercial / travel trailer

I got the f350 srw 11300 gvwr, if registered that way it is right at $100 more to register annually. Tell them 10000 gvwr and a cheaper registration annually.

RE: Hwy 442 Gatlinburg

I have done it many times solo, and have commented to my wife there is no way in ___ I would pull my 36ft bumper pull thru there. Can be very steep and curvey.

RE: Restoration begins!

I THINK that will be a pretty cool project and wish you luck. However I could not continue watching, way to much time opening an awning, could have skipped all that. Good luck.

RE: Crushed F-150

Allworth, it has nothing to do with brand lets not go there. It has everything to do with driver awareness, the pickup no matter brand did not have heavy duty towing package or it would not have strap on mirrors.

RE: How to get an RV up a steep drive way

Ok klutchdust, I misunderstood thought it was a trailer. Forgive me. I had a 28 ft damon that I fipped the axles on years ago to get in and out of my driveway, towed several thousand miles with no problem. So I guess we can all miss speak about things we don't understand.

RE: How to get an RV up a steep drive way

You may also look to se if your axles are above or below the leaf springs,if above you could have a reputable shop move them to below witch would give the whole trailer added hieght.
