RE: Mice smell from furnace vents

Had the same problem a few years ago. Dumped liquid Nilodor at the air inlet of the furnace (inside). Took all summer with repeated Nilodor dumps to get rid of the smell.

RE: Cikira 18CC grey water pump?

Could possibly be a switch for a macerator with a plugin somewhere close to the holding tank outlets. I don't have a switch for my pump, but I do have a live plugin close to the holding tanks behind the outer access cover to the fridge.

RE: Rock Collectors

Just be warned it takes a lot longer than you think it does. Hard rocks will survive and be polished, soft rocks will be ground to dust. Yes, some stones can take hundreds of hours.

RE: Rock Collectors

Great for polishing gold and silver jewelry also using steel tumbling media.

RE: Rock Collectors

The title of your post made me think of.. https://i.imgur.com/ioLOjJMl.jpg :B Sort of a bit like my Mom, she liked to "collect" rocks from her travels with my Dad.. Although Moms rocks wouldn't fit into a tumbler.. HF does sell rock tumblers https://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/9fc4a8332f9638515cd199dd0f9238da/6/7/67632_I.jpg height=300 width=300 Found HERE at HF for $70 For small quantities they also have a single version HERE at HF for $50 Looks like they also carry some different grits for polishing. That is a same model (different brand) that I have. Bought it 30 years ago and still works just fine.

RE: Both blinkers flash for right and left

The positions are labeled the same, but the colors are all different; hence you would be putting the wrong color wire on the terminal. I stand corrected on the color code. The chart on Etrailer's website is the same as the one Bucky posted. Could Etrailer be wrong? Etrailer Link There are 2 different versions of a 7 way Bargman. I posted the CORRECT one for RV's. I have no idea what the other version is used on. Also, 4 way flat(utility and boat trailers), the Yellow IS Left and the BROWN is Clearance and the GREEN is right. But when people try to update their 4 way flat to a 7 way, they use the wrong colors on the pins. Over the years it always seemed to be CW and U haul that screwed this up when wiring vehicles. Doug Good to know what is correct. Thanks for the update.

RE: Both blinkers flash for right and left

7 wire color chart Absolutely WRONG! This is the problem with using the Web to find out things. This is the correct RV 7 way. Doug https://www.pinterest.com/pin/497647827547757482/?nic_v3=1a1U2AKFw The wiring of those two charts is identical.

RE: Do you need to sanitize a water tank that's never been used?

It would be a good idea to sanitize it.

RE: Solar Removal (advice/ideas)

improvement in solar panels would have me leaning to leave old ones and get new ones. X2 Plus leaving the solar on the old rig could be a good selling point.

RE: Black water tank health concerns and questions

I think that we should take the OP's concerns seriously and not poke fun at him. There is no reason to be rude. Some clowns think it's funny to be rude. :R

RE: no noise generators

Everyone saying how over priced they are should chime in with there actual cost for there system that they use....There not cheap to do it right.. Lol You get a 600 watt solar system for approx $600 US. Add in $400 for batteries. That works out to $1000 For one battery? Then there is the controller/inverter/wiring etc...No free lunch doing it yourself.. 600 Watt Solar System No need for lithium batteries, GC2 work just fine.

RE: no noise generators

That is an overpriced solar set up. Buy yourself 600 watts of solar with a charge controller and inverter for under $1200 and you are good to go.

RE: Tires after over 2 years sitting

Some of these tire threads are hilarious, good for a laugh once in a while. What's hilarious about this thread? Four remarks about replacing 3 yr old tires that have sat in the sun for 2 years. Now that is funny.

RE: sanitizing fresh tanks - basic question

thanks , just to be clear - after sanitizing with bleach and draining, are you suggesting I fill with water again, and then drain all that out? Seems like the cleanest option would be to drain out the bleachy water, then not fill with anything til ready to use. PS - does anyone ever put bleach into the city water inlet in the trailer? figure that’s got some pipes too that maybe could use some bleaching after five years. Drain the bleach water then fill with fresh water once and drain.
