RE: Black water tank health concerns and questions

I am more concerned about sitting on the toilet that someone else sat on in public...
Tis true, especially since guys in public restrooms have very bad aiming skills. Also have to worry about dropping your drawers on the ground while you sit due to the same bad aiming skills.
I have a friend who changes the toilet seat whenever he gets a new house.

RE: Apple car play or XM radio

I have the ala-carte programming on XM. IIRC it is about $8.00 a month for 50 stations, some extra pay. I have it on auto pay and I don't have to renew it or argue with them about renewing if you have annual plan.

RE: Might sell the F450 and go F550 with liquid springs

Biggest downside is the requirement to plate it as commercial here in OK. Now will that mean I need to pull into weigh stations with my truck camper on the back?
IIRC somebody addressed this type of issue earlier in this thread.

RE: Leveling Blocks

whatever you use, be sure that they support the full width of the tire tread. the plastic stackables were not wide enough for my class A tires.

RE: Clogged Black Tank

I assume that you dont have a built in black tank sprayer. buy one,let tank slowly empty below area near tank top l drill a hole in the wall of the tank opposite the drain end that is slightly larger than the tank sprayer assembly. beg/borrow/or steal a pressure washer, jam it into the hole in the wall and blast away. then mount sprayer assembly.

RE: Rubber Roof Replacement

Saw a relatively new 5er headed the other way on the freeway today.
The rubber roof was wrapped around the air/con and flapping away...no signs of impact.
Unfortunately, there was no way we were going to get turned around and catch up to them, so it was still flapping away when I lost sight of him.
that is why I advise them on my CB radio of the problem.
oh, they don't have a cb, tough.

RE: Using a Cpap in my AF 27-5

I just checked my dream station and the "wall wart" or more correctly "line wart" has a 12 volt output.

RE: Using a Cpap in my AF 27-5

I use this when we don't have power. Without the humidifier I can go 4-5 days without charging. 2 days with the humidifier.
This
that is what I hoped somebody would compare to a jackery at 1/3 the cost.

RE: Thinking about investing in Crypto currency?

In couple of years crypto currency will be excepted even in the supermarket.
Everything is changing very quickly and we have to make peace with that.
can't argue with that exception

like any other pyramid scheme, you need to get in early. put $500 in and in two weeks, pay for a house.

I've never heard if a jackery before but they sound neat but for $600 and up they better work.
but how many amp hours do the various ones provide. Yes, they have some neat features however.

RE: Photos of New Fishing Bridge RV Park - YELLOWSTONE

Yellowstone, Fishing Bridge is far from a parking lot with pedestals! It’s a camping spot located in the middle of a Yellowstone! The perfect place to see the park from a central location!
we found FB to be perfect for having a base camp out of which to see the various sights in Yellowstone. I did not go to yellow stone for a camping experience. if I wanted rustic I would go to Madison or some other campground.

Yep, that’s exactly what I was getting at. I’m surprised some don’t complain about no pool or daily activities for kids?
well I was mad that the putt putt golf course was closed. :P

I hope they changed things a little bit. most every site had a wooden post at the end and most of them had been knocked back about a 45 degree angle to "lengthen" them a little.

N pictures but here describes the changes.

Ugh. They kept the pay showers, such a crappy concept and worse implementation.
I rather liked those showers when I was there. strongest blast of nice warm water I've ever had. and since open to the public charging cuts down on a million people from other cam grounds to use them for free.

RE: Overnite-er in the Hagerstown MD area

If you are going to the KOA just south of Hagerstown, there used to be a warning in their ad to NOT follow the GPS directions. don't know if that has been corrected however.
