RE: Wiring problems

You would be best to look for and OLD school mechanic
not a new school auto technician
It doesn't always apply to mechanics.
While ordering a sandwich on toast, the young waitress asked ' do you want your toast TOASTED' ? She was serious ! I think we might be doomed :E :B
She didn't consider herself as a waitress, she was a Food Service Technician.
Thank you.

RE: Wiring problems

Cindy,
What you have to start off understanding is that it is a Dodge truck with a house made by Fireball on the back and they are just barely connected.
You have a good chance of finding the service documentation for the DXXX truck part, it may even be available in your local library. If not, you can probably order a manual or at least a Chiltons that will cover it.
As far as the house goes, unless you can find someone that has the documentation, you are pretty much SOL (Second On Line?). My advice is that you start be creating your own...
Get a loose leaf notebook.
Find the manufacturer and model of everything that the coach contains and write that on the first page of the notebook.
Go online and search up the documentation for each, print it, punch it and put it in the notebook....
Does this guy have any idea??
Well, the coach we had before this was a 1978 Dodge Cayo Motorvator. It was built on a Dodge D300 frame and Cayo said that the back was only connected to the frame by 6 bolts. There was also one wire that charged the house battery. Cayo became Avion and those people still acknowledge what happened, but were very little help.
I am now in a different situation. We have a 1973 GMC and all of the documentation is available and there is amazing support from the community. There is Zero support from GM.
Matt
Thats a pretty good ideal thank you. Ill let you know how it turns out.
