RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Walter if Michelle still works there tell her I said hello. I said hello to Michelle for you earlier today. She remembers you and Old Fella quite well. She says hello back to you!

More photos we just took of the meeting room where all of the original FOOF's met here at the Branson ABC campground. As you can see, they still have the iconic photo of Richard and Old Fella displayed.:C https://i.imgur.com/3uce0Vrl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/XO0lJgLl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/hBsOjbAl.jpg

Walter here is a link to the Montana forum with the discussion of the cap lights or eyebrow lights and where to get them and how to install them Montana cap LED lightsThanks for the link Richard.:) Knock on wood, all of my front end lights and awning lights are still working! It's good to know where and how to install new ones, however.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Trying to remember all the folks at the Old Fella Western Rally. Walter you and Garland were there. Gary Shapiro was there, Martyn was there. How about Doug and Sandy? Dan and Lori had not joined us yet, but they came to the Rally at Four Paws. Dusty and her husband was there.Who else was at the rally in Colorado Springs? The young couple from Virginia, what was their name?Yup, Garland, Gretchen and I were at the 2007 "Western Rally", but not the "Eastern Rally" bake off.:p https://i.imgur.com/DO1M85Ol.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Gy8E7X2l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9rHy7Nyl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Co853kxl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/e9OIMcnl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/fKd38Wsl.jpg

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Well Burch, I feel your pain. :p I came to the realization a long time ago that RV service departments in general are to be avoided at all costs, if possible. I am guessing that your best bet is to try and research and analyze your problem(s) and then, hopefully, try and fix it yourself. I am not joking when I say that if your RV, or any RV, goes into the RV service department for one problem, it will probably be returned with two.:E

RE: Busy few weeks coming.....

Lee was 4th on Saturday and 1st on Sunday out of 66 dogs each day. We won the long road award (highest combined score for a dog trained by its handler)... Woohoo . . . . good going! :C

...... Dale Hi Dale, This is Garland. I know how you feel cleaning out a parent's house. It is physically tiring, but most of all-very hard emotionally. I am an only child and Walter was my rock along with a co-worker from my office to help me with my parents house in the 90's. Glad to hear you are on the last leg of cleaning. Please take care and let us know of your progress whatever you decide to do.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Sgtjoe, check the oil level in the generator. If the oil is low it has a safety switch that turns the generator off. I can attest to that fact! I just about lost my mind a couple of years ago when I could not get our Generac 5500W "emergency" generator to start up for it's annual exercise. Field stripped the carb, cleaned and blew out all the jets and orifices, new gas filter, new gas (of course), new spark plug, properly gapped . . . . . . then . . . . . nothing! Not even a pop! I was fit to be tied! It's a wonder I didn't have a heart attack yanking on that cord for what seemed like hours. I had to pause every so often, afraid of flooding it. This went on all morning, and after awhile I gave up and went inside for awhile, racking my brain for what the heck the matter was. It had started up like a champ for many years previous! While I was resting, I decided what the heck, I'll dig out the manual just to see if there was any trouble shooting tips I could possibly have missed. And yes, there it was, "Engine will not start if low oil level", or something to that effect. The ONE THING I had not checked was the oil level. Of course, I went right out and checked it, and it was ever so slightly below the "add" mark on the stick. Put oil in. Pulled the cord. Started on the first pull!:B
