RE: Tank treatment that can restore sensor accuracy?

As Don stated above, IF your drain tube is not straight a wand from the top will do little to nothing. Unless it is a Flexible One:B Yeah ichabod, you can lead some horses to water but you can't make them drink. :B

RE: Tank treatment that can restore sensor accuracy?

I guess I could be wrong, but after using the wand my black tank sensors work as they should. :h Sigh, it kinda felt good to be whatever. ;)

RE: Tank treatment that can restore sensor accuracy?

RE: need help, lost keys

Holymoley Thomas, I would have done the same thing on the wife's Highlander. I gotta converse with google or the manual on that one. ON edit, after reviewing some youtubes, I learned nothing about frying the fob. Enlighten me on the trick please.

RE: Trouble finding alcohol free RV antifreeze this season?

The alcohol-based stuff has two things I would like to avoid. First is it is flammable. I saw this flammable legend a few years back. Hmmmmm, so being curious I poured some on the pad in front of the barn and took to it with a portable propane torch. Could not get it to light. :h

RE: Generator to run three RV's?

Yes, a grid connection would be far more convenient and likely cheaper but... 30,000.00 buys a heck of a lot of solar. can you clarify what you are referring to. 30K for what. My drop was less than 300 back when and like stated, if I would not have built, there would have been a monthly charge to keep the drop alive/turned on. I am gone and will not come back to this thread since we have long gone into the ozone layer. :R

RE: Generator to run three RV's?

val, :h Note my first two sentences. Ya never know until the company is contacted. Around here, a local drop can be put in and then there is a minimum fee per month just to keep power to the drop. As far as the cost for a drop it varies as to the distance from the main line. Mine was 200 and some change foe the hardware since I was close enough to the juice line that there was no additional charge for running line.

RE: Generator to run three RV's?

I think we are getting the cart before the horse here. If and after you find a property, then look at having an electrical drop put in by the local power company. Then go from there. The possibly exist thth you can just drive in and flip a switch. Is what I did for my sticks and bricks home and pole barn. ;)

RE: Snowbirds exiting

When we camped in the FL panhandle, the snow birds/homies that dominated the camp ground took off north right after the Saint Pattie's day blow out.

RE: Opinions on lightweight portable inverter/generators

I get a kick out someone starting a genny thread on here, kinda like asking if you need a dually to pull the pop up. :R Also seems like the Honda folks are really concerned about needing service and parts. :h I have run a Predator for house back up and a Champ for camping. No problems or parts needed.

RE: Wheel Bearings - re-grease?

me, I would not do it. Way too much hype and legend in this arena. If it is worth the effort and money to make you feel more at ease then you gotta do it.

RE: landing gear issue

I vote for the lube job. It sure helped mine but I put more than two pumps in. Also The top cover can be popped off and some gear oil added there to get things started faster. It just seeps out the bottom and helps with the rust on the feet. ;)

RE: Toilet burping

Sounds like a classic "poop pyramid" prob. Get one of those flexible wands with the spinner on the end and blast that problem away. A search on this site should produce a lot of hits

RE: Thor Industries now has $14 billion in backlogged orders
