RE: HOV lane I 75 in Atlanta, GA

I don't have enough guts to do that while towing and probably wouldn't drive in that fast lane without the RV but that's just me.

RE: ITC recessed over head lights

Try pulling straight down. See this website for ideas: http://www.itc-rv.com/product-category/lighting/overhead-lighting/

RE: Tifton Georgia

While waiting search this Forum for Tifton and/or do a Google search for `Tifton, GA campgrounds'. According to our directory there are two Good Sam parks and one KOA in Tifton.

RE: Where to go in mid April 2019

Do a Google search for `_______ tourism' and put the city or area in the blank space. I spose Las Vegas is out for the kids. How about Hoover Dam?

RE: Security camera in motorhome

Look at the SimpliSafe cameras. But you need an internet connection.

RE: Fiberglass Siding Cracking Near Slide Out???

Quick; drill a 1/8 inch hole just beyond the end of the crack which will stop if from propagating; or both ends if necessary.

narcissistic personality disorder

Someone I know has a Narcissistic personality disorder. The worst part of this situation is that the person does not think they have it so no treatment is effective. It's like an alcoholic who does not believe they have a drinking problem. Anyone have experience with this and know what to do about it?

RE: Adding a 2nd AC...which one??

Isn't a `quiet A/C' an oxymoron? Kinda like an honest politician...

RE: Slide Out Toppers

We don't. Seems to me it would require climbing up on the roof which is not a good idea for some of us seniors. I wouldn't know what to use except possibly Corrosion X.

RE: What apps do you use that you find really helpful?

RE: KOA Membership

All of the above. We have been KOA members for several years and the cost pays for itself every year. The hook, of course, is that they encourage you to stay at their parks to get the discount instead of others so it's a win-win for both parties. We have found the KOA campgrounds to be a cut above the ordinary but some are better/worse than others. You just have to try them and make a list of the ones that are good/bad for you. We (two 80 year olds) typically stay at the same CG's as in the past and don't normally go to areas we have never been. Our adventurous spirit has flown!

RE: Critters chewing tubing/wiring

Honda produces a capsaicin-treated tape (part number 4019-2317) which is sold through Honda dealers and online. Wrapping repaired or existing wires in the tape effectively deter rodents from chewing on them. This tape lacks the painful odor one would expect of a capsaicin product but prolonged skin exposure will cause burning. You can imagine what happens to a rodent’s skin and sensitive nose when they attempt to chew on the tape.

RE: Cover for Winnie Drop

We use a Sunshield tarp held down with boat fenders half filled with sand. Landlubbers call them bumpers! Easy on and easy off.

RE: Looking for recommendation for Electric Bikes...

My Wife and I each have electric bikes. Hers is a Diamondback step thru by CurieTech with a rear wheel motor and mine is a Path Plus with center mount motor. Both are considered Pedal Assist where one has to pedal to make the motor work but hers has a Throttle Assist which allows the motor to run without pedaling. We have electric bikes because she has an artificial knee and I have heart problems. We have put thousands of miles on them. One problem is that neither one has shocks in the front or back and riding some of the rough trails can be annoying. We have Thud Busters in the seats that help. One hint: if you buy an electric bike be sure there is a local service shop that can handle them. They are more complex than the standard and not every shop has people that know about them.

RE: Dimmer switch or cover for bright bedroom light?
