RE: Help! Hitch stuck in ball mount.

Do you have a sledge hammer? I hope the locking latch was fully open when you hitched up.

RE: Paducah, Kentucky question

Do a Google search for `Paducah tourism' and read on. DO NOT try to get a site during the quilting festival which, I think, lasts two weeks.

RE: Under the sink water filtration

At our stick house we have an under counter filter to a separate spigot on the sink that required drilling another hole, of course. My office has a countertop filter with a hose to a special adapter on the end of the faucet. pull out a plunger to get filtered water and it goes back to raw water when the water is shut off. Seems to work. Never tested the water, however. Relatively easy to install but it takes up some counter space.

RE: Looking for pantry ideas

Unless you are a full timer, with no access to woodworking tools, it shouldn't be too hard to build one to your exact dimensions. I think I would use 1/2 inch plywood for the sides and back (front door?) piano hinge. use 1 x 2 horizontal supports on the sides to hold up the 1/2 inch shelves. You can use screen bead across the front of the shelves to dress them up. It's not Amish furniture but it would probably get the job done. Maybe a better idea is to do a Google search?

RE: Main entry door shuts hard

Just off the top is there any chance of recessing the strike plate a tad or, at least, the forward edge of the plate?

RE: Solidifying shower floor??

This is one result of a Google search: https://homeguides.sfgate.com/filling-space-between-subfloor-shower-base-34536.html

RE: Sharp reverse turn with Equl-i-zer hitch?

I've done it for years with no problem; backing into my gravel path from the street.

RE: Tips/Tricks/info on Full-time RV'ing For Beginners

45 years! You must be pretty old :-) How's your health? Full-timing or even vacationing by yourself is tough like owning a moving house. Are you sure you are up to it? Just sign me `wet blanket'.

RE: Value of used RV

The value of a used RV is whatever a buyer wants to pay at the time you want to sell it. You won't get as much as you want but if you want to get rid of it...

RE: RV Mattress

In our experience the very best mattress on the market is made by Verlo. We have them in our sticks house and RV.

RE: Best time to buy new?

The best deal is finding the RV that fits your camping lifestyle. If it doesn't no deal is a deal.

RE: E-bike transportation

I wish I had a toy hauler to carry our two e-bikes and if I did I would make/buy some kind of a rack that will carry them upright. Too many delicate normal bike parts (deraileur) to lay them down.

RE: How long do you drive/tow in a day?

Lots pf previous posts on this subject. The range is from our 200 miles per day to drive all day.

RE: New post on bike carriers

Three bikes is a lot; we carry two and they bounce around on our front receiver of our Suburban. If you haven't yet bought the bikes I'd suggest looking into foldup bikes. We used Dahon's for years folded up in our sailboat. They are adjustable for almost any age group.

RE: Ford Going All Electric in 2030 Too...

I'll be 91 if lucky and probably won't be driving anymore...

RE: Dinette Booth - Replace free standing chairs

Interesting how the world works. We would not like to trade in our four chairs for two booths. Chairs are more comfortable and can be rotated as much as is desirable for whatever purpose. We even took out one of the chairs to make room for a case of our favorite beverage and some other necessary stuff.

RE: How to replace sofa in 5th wheel?

Just slightly off topic but do you really need a sleeper sofa?

RE: Campfire cooking in the cold

or use a George Foreman grill inside; much easier and no wind chill.

For previous posts search this Forum for `air compressor' then 12V or 120V.
