RE: Recommendations for Lake Vacation in Maine

The Moosehead Lake region is the best place to take a vacation. So, if you and your family want a "moosing" adventure, this is the place for you. Moosehead Lake is great for relaxing on the water. Many places have canoe, kayak and boat rentals. There is so much to see and do here, when enjoying the outdoors. Use https://travelsites.com/camping/camping sites to plan your vacation more thoroughly

RE: Dimmer switch or cover for bright bedroom light?

I suggest that you consider privacy window films - www.stickpretty.com . I have ones. Enough light gets through that I would never be able to think about going without my blinds, so it didn't really help my sleep situation except that the room is definitely cooler.

RE: Vinyl plank flooring - snap lock with history of success?

We have vinyl flooring throughout the house. People who see it can't tell its not hardwood until they look closely. With pets and kids, the maintenance is nothing more than mopping every once in awhile. No finishing, waxing, or gouges to worry about.

RE: CBD oil

I use CBD oil myself & so does my dog. It's amazing . Here you can find out more benefits of CBD oil. I use CBD oil for my old dog and for me for our joint aches & the light for my anxious terrier. I do believe it makes a difference. This could be placebo effect but don't really care as long as it works

RE: Help with floor ducted furnace, lack of air flow

I think ventilation is essential. Do your research on vent systems, this link can be helpful: https://texair.eu/ . I guess proper ventilation is all you need. Good luck friend!

RE: Stainless steel sinks

3 years ago we had a beautiful, big gray granite composite double sink installed. I absolutely love it and if I were to have the kitchen redone, I would install the exact same sink. But keep in mind that all granite products need sealing. More info on this on: https://graniteprotect.com/

RE: Medical marijuana

I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. My doc put me on Xanax. It may sound strange, but it makes me have the worst hangover. Thats why I take CBD oil (more info on site). It calms all my nerves down. Allows me to stay calm and well organized. So you'll never know until you give it a try

RE: dog food for old dog

I have a 9 y.o. Cocker Spaniel who is eating the Kirkland Adult Lamb/Rice right now. I was skirting https://goodpuppyfood.com/diets/best-dog-food-for-senior-dogs/https://goodpuppyfood.com/diets/best-dog-food-for-senior-dogs/ when I saw that Merrick Lil' Plates Senior Dog Food is rated quite a bit higher and has a better meat/grain balance (the lamb/rice is pretty grain heavy), but is technically a senior dog food. I wouldn't quite consider mine a senior yet - she has no issues getting around and has not slowed down at all, clean bill of health from the vet every year, etc.

RE: best RV trip planning app for MacBook?

When it comes to navigation, I vote for Google Maps. My job is essentially driving from place to place. I use the voice feature to say what street and it's fairly good, it gets it right all the time on straight forward street names. It does a pretty good job at guessing strange street names. Navigation is good and I like the feature which highlights traffic buildup.

RE: Thinking about investing in Crypto currency?

I was initially very skeptical about bitcoin. All of the bitcoin fan boys said crazy statements. Though now everything has changed. To be in the game, I invested very small amount into Bitcoin and just use Bitcoin Price Trackers to monitor the price. I believe that technology can help make the world a better place and bitcoin may be a part of that technology.

RE: Fire stick

I personally have been using Amazon Firestick and it has been the best device I have ever used so far. If to know how to use it properly, one can obtain total freedom to watch whatever and whenever you want. I have recently stumbled upon one nice recource with the info one needs for effective use of FireStick - https://www.firesticktricks.com/jailbreak-fire-stick.html . Nice informative portal with actual and constantly updating information.

RE: Alternative satellite option?

I have a firestick. I don't know if it is better than roku stick but I wouldn't trade it. It has a lot of different options for streaming apps both free and paid. There are plenty of choices. I found an app a couple weeks ago that has absolutely everything I was looking for - it calls Cinema Apk, for more info https://www.firestickhow.com/cinema-apk.html

I am also planning our RV trip which kicks off here in a couple weeks (already got rv through rv rental sites). Going to Sitka island has always been on our bucket list, but the cost of taking the rv on the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry system is outrageous so I will have to park it in Juneau and fly over to it and rent a car there for 2-days while we explore and I am concerned about security and theft while our RV sits in Juneau. So keep you posted on my eperience.

RE: Convection Microwave vs. Gas Oven

I am also looking at the convection microwaves without the turntable, they seem to have a little more space and are set out more like a normal oven which could come in handy. Just found some https://www.cookwared.com/reviews/best-convection-microwave/reviews online but still cannot decide which brand to go for.
