RE: DMV issues

I understand mail forwarding services. I appreciate your response, but it is not our solution. From my original post: "We're giving up our SD residency since we bought property in AZ." We've had a mail forwarding service (and legal SD residency) for many years. We have now given it up and have established residency (DL and car registration in another state.) We're looking for the name of one of the counties in SD that will allow us to continue registering our motorhome in SD.

RE: DMV issues

We do not want to continue to keep a residency in SD.

RE: DMV issues

I'm jumping on this with hopes that the negative comments can be put aside. We each have our own life situations and the support here is much appreciated. We're giving up our SD residency since we bought property in AZ. We were told at the AZ DMV that we could continue to register (and insure, of course) our motorhome in SD. We can no longer register it in Minnehaha County, but were told by them that other counties will let us. We have the list of counties, but am wondering if anyone knows one (or more) counties that will accept our situation. Thanks.

My post reads "Topic Closed."

Hi all, I posted a question about registering our motorhome in SD if we changed our legal address to AZ. I received several responses, but haven't been able to get back here to respond. Any idea why the topic was closed?

RE: RV registration in SD

I just chatted with someone from the DOR. She said we can maintain our RV registration in SD, but not every county will allow it. The research continues.

RV registration in SD

Here I begin the debate. We have been legal residents of SD while full timing. We have now bought a home in AZ. Can we continue to register our motorhome in South Dakota once we get new drivers' licenses in AZ? Thanks.

RE: Tire size

Thank you, all. As it turns out, the Michelins that couldn't be found are due to being discontinued. It's frustrating, to say the least, when you're dealing with a tire shop and they don't know this basic information. I've managed to locate their replacements. Thanks again.

Tire size

I am using FMCA's discount tire program to buy four tires for my rear axle on my Allegro Bus. (The ones in front are newer.) I'd prefer to stick with Michelin, but inventory is problematic. I've gotten a quote on Continental, but I'm concerned about compatibility. The front Michelins are Model xze 275/80r 22.5 lrh The Continentals quoted for me are 295/75 22.5 lrg My concern is if the Continentals quoted were compatible with Michelin given the difference in size. Thanks
