RE: Anyone else run out of diesel ?

Where was your motorhome stored, at home or in a storage lot? My wife just came and said she just read on her Next Door Neighbor app that fuel was being stolen from vehicles in storage lots in our area. we live in Rescue Ca. and keep our motorhome in a lot near Diamond Springs. With fuel prices being so high I'm afraid that we are going to see more and more of these things. On my Cat engine I had a second filter installed that has a primer pump installed on it. You might check to see if your Cummins has a primer on it. Please keep us posted on your Repairs.

RE: 22.5 wheels

My Phaeton came with 221/2" wheels when I bought it new but when it came time to change out the tires I changed the wheels to Alcoa's. I went with 4 polished and the 2 inter wheels I installed non polished. I don't think anything is wrong with using the steel wheels on the inside rear wheels but I wanted all aluminum. I took one of the steel wheels and put one of the used tires on and I am able to fit a fully mounted and aired up tire and wheel in the compartment next to my propane tank compartment. I sense changed the tires out again and then changed the spare to the newer aged out tires. I think I am old school but I feel better with a spare tire. I have extra steel wheels that I would gladly give to anyone who needs a spare for their motorhome. I live above Sacramento off highway 50.

RE: Allison 3000 transmission

I would like to thank everyone who responded to my topic question about the changing of my transmission fluid. I have an appointment for next Tuesday to do the fluid change. They will use the Transynd TES 668. One of the responses gave me a link to an Allison site stating that they are using this fluid in all of their transmissions. Thanks again for the help.

Allison 3000 transmission

I had my Allison 3000 transmission oil changed to Trans Syn synthetic fluid at 34,911 on 2/12/15. I have now just under 50,000 miles and my question is should I have the transmission fluid changed again? I understand at the fluid change at 34,000 that the oil in the torque converter was not changed so this change would add too the impurity of the synthetic fluid. I also wondered if I waited too long to make the second synthetic change? my transmission seems to perform perfectly. Any thoughts or ideas? The diesel engine is the Cat C7. Thank-you

RE: New Furniture

I get notices from etrailer.com they supply equipment for trucks, trailers, boats and RVs. I just noticed RV recliners advertised for a good price, you might pull up their site and take a look.
