RE: 2013 Ford CMax death wobble

The easy "fix" is to take a long bungee cord and loop it through the bottom of the steering wheel a couple of times and hook both ends under the driver's seat bottom frame. This will keep a centering force on the steering and dampen the wobble. This might produce more dragging and tire wear on the front. I do see where it would be much easier on the undershorts!

RE: Conflicting information tow dolly

There are vehicles where the steering components can not handles the stress of this. I would get a representative of the vehicle manufacturer customer service engaged. There are fewer cars that are towable these daysIf you ever saw how a steering wheel is locked, you would know that any front end components would hold up much better than what was locking the steering. I'm actually wondering if our 2017 Mini has a locking steering.

RE: Remco to discontinue it's vehicle towing kits

For the last several years REMCO hasn't manufactured anything besides maybe some trans pumps. They sell the different brands as well as offered a great amount of information. I will miss that.
