RE: Splendide XC Combo oiling our clothes?

I would certainly call them. They have been very nice to work with whenever I have called them. I’ve been using my combo unit for 15 years and never experienced anything like that. Please let us know what they say.

RE: New GFI Outlet Will Not Reset

Did you unplug everything from those other outlets? If so maybe rain got in that outside outlet. Try blowing it out with some air and see if that helps. It will not reset until the fault is repaired or removed from the circuit. They are very sensitive as they should be so people don’t get shocked.

RE: TC Alternator Connection Diode

You can check the diode with a multi meter to verify prior to replacing.

RE: Question on inner bearing grease seals

Are you really willing to risk your boat trailer for a few dollars?
Flute Man 01/21/20 04:33am Travel Trailers

Did you verify with a meter that you have a good 12 V going to the board. Also with the meter you can ohm out the switches to see if they are working properly. Did you take a picture of the board or make a diagram of the board connections before you took it apart?

RE: Our annual Quartzite trip and more...

Enjoy your trip. Sounds like you will have a good time. I stayed in Quartzite a couple of times a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I stayed there about three months at a time and got involved in the local activities and affairs.

RE: Propane vs Electric Heating

I have found over the years it is just about a trade off with the use propane or electric. I am on all electric right now with Propane as a back up. I would say use whatever is most convenient.

RE: Norcold 1200 - Thermistor temps wrong until power cycled

Sounds like the control board may be the problem. Have you been able to contact Norcold for their comments?

RE: melting plug

Sounds like the park needs to replace or repair the socket in their pedestal. Poor connections cause heat.

RE: Planning a cross country trip - questions

I have traveled most of the country in my 40 footer and never had a problem finding a place for it.

RE: Foot pedal spring, Thetford Aqua Magic 2

If you can get by for $80 I would say go for it Your other options don’t seem to be working out. If it is a torsional Spring like on a garage door I can see where it would be extremely hard to do.

RE: Washer/Dryer worth it?

RE: Bad inverter, rewire new one?

The prongs on a male plug should never be “Hot”. Very dangerous. I know some people do it but it is not right. Totally agree, but from re-reading his post, he is not doing this. The male part would be the RECEIVER of power (to outlets), not PROVIDER of power (from inverter). Thanks for the clarification.

RE: Kwikee Stairs failure rate

Mine went 15 years before they failed and that was due to my own stupidity.
