RE: Keeping Bugs, mosquitoes and no see ums away

Dryer sheets work well to keep away the mosquitos. Place them around your body, especially where you have bare skin.

RE: The Horrible RV Magazine

My membership is coming up for renewal. I have not received my RV magazine for several months and I had no notice of renewal. Looks like I missed the bad, but I don't know.

RE: Gas Credit Cards

I once had a Shell credit card and my local station was on my block. When I was laid off from my job, I wrote a letter to Shell, saying I wanted to keep the card, and I would pay something every month without fail. My card was cancelled and I was in collection status in three days.

RE: Dump Station Etiquette???

See the GEO method here: https://kleentank.com/the-geo-method/ I get my Calgon water softener at Walmart. Order on line and pick it up the next day, and its very inexpensive.

RE: Medicare Advantage Plans

We have Scan Health and it has been terrific, with no disappointments. Several surgeries, continual blood tests and monitoring. Prescriptions zero of close to it.

RE: Thinking about buying a class c

of course I have a preference. Winnebago View, 24 feet long, easy to drive, preat diesel engine. Check out the various floor plans to see which suits you.

Dah Air Conditioning only half working

2007 Sprinter-based Winnebago View. Right side of dash A/C has cold air, left side only warm air. Is there a baffle not working or something?

RE: Where to sell a Toad

I agree about the mileage. I track all my fuels and mileage in an excel spreadsheet, including the towed miles, so its easy to demonstrate the actual driven miles, and the actual MPG.

RE: bike rack on ladder

Yes, I had a ladder-mount bike rack for two kid's bikes and it worked well.

RE: Mercedes C-Class

Sprinters are very popular and the engine should be good for 300,000 miles. However, you have to pay attention to use only the fluids approved by MB. Cost is not excessive. Ours is badged as a Dodge, but its still MB. They drive like a larger van, very smooth and less sway than a class A. I get 15 MPG diesel. We pull a toad most but not all the time.

RE: Yellowstone NP to Glacier NP

West Glacier - just need a good road. Want to have a short visit, do the going to the sun road. Unfortumately, its mostly closed right now. West side OK, middle only for hikers and bikers, east side completely closed. Probably have to skip, do it another year.

RE: Route from the South to Glacier Natl Park

Right now, Glacier NP has 3 zones. Eastern 3rd is completely closed. Middle third is only open for hikers and bikers. Western third is open.

ONe-way roads in Yellowstone NP

We have used the little road near Gibbon Falls which is fairly old, paved with asphalt and is scenic. Might have been Virginia Cascade but can't remember. However we didn't have time for the road from Mammoth Hot Springs/Albright Visitor Center to the North Entrance, and also the Blacktail Plateau drive. I hear there is a lot of wildlife on these roads. How is the condition of the road? Asphalt? Gravel?

Yellowstone NP to Glacier NP

Recommend route from North Gate or West Gate? Driving Class C with toad.
