RE: Michelin vs Toyo tires

We always had Michelin and went with Toyos this year. Not disappointed.

RE: Where to get three nights of peaceful RV time?

One of our favorites is Lawsons Landing/Dillon Beach. Dry camping with plenty of room on nice grassy areas. Beautiful dog friendly beach. No shopping or eating places nearby. Bodega Bay or Petaluma is nearby. If you want to people watch and just enjoy we like it.

RE: Best 22.5 tire for 22,000 lb motor home?

Just replaced our Michelins with Toyos only because they were 10yrs old not due to tread wear. Toyos were almost 1k cheaper..we don't wear them out they just get old so it was a no brainer. The ride actually seems smoother.

RE: Lake Tahoe

"Hank the Tank" a 500 pound black bear that has broken into about 25 homes looking for food this winter "Hank the Tank" was found not guilty LOL Tahoe is worth it !! One of our favorite vacation spots with the RV. As others have said get your reservations ASAP. We love Campground by the Lake however renovations are being done this yr. Tahoe Valley Campground usually has some openings and is an OK park.

RE: Rice Ranch RV, Quartzsite

Your basic RV full hookup site across from the big tent and action. Gravel/Dirt. We prefer LTVA without hookups with lots of space.

RE: Quartzite?

can you get in and through the big tent on a mobility scooter? Absolutely and many add a few dogs to it as well :( We don't usually do the tent the first weekend or to early in the day. We have been going for many years and enjoy the camping with our group of friends out in the desert. The tent and A-Z are just something to do.

RE: Ever hear of this camping company? Harvest Host

Have a few friends that have been members for years and love it. They are not retired and a one night stay is all they need. We have alot of wineries that also have venues with bands etc. in our area and a place to park works for them. It's not for us but it's an excellent opportunity for alot of folks. Note: it was only $35 to join when they did, however even at $99 would be worth it for some.

RE: Battery Problem

Costco carries Interstate Golf Cart Batteries. Pretty good price as well.
