How well do those Yagi antenna's work Dutch? Range in miles on average?

RE: Original Mobley Obsolete?

You can add antenna connections to the T-Mobile device. I have the tutorial on file with how to do it.

RE: Original Mobley Obsolete?

I have two Mobley's and they should continue to work fine. I use mine day and night and have never seen them on 3G speeds.

RE: T-Mobile Home Internet WOW!

Looks like it's on sale this month thru the 30th for $50 a month, but it's still not available at my home yet. 5G Home Internet

RE: Do cellphone boosters work for RV camping with poor signal?

Last Friday I was way out in the sticks with barely one bar on my phone. I got a phone call and could barely hear the caller. I turned on my weBoost booster and the phone call came alive just like I was in town. It works well for me. I will say though, if I have three or more bars I don't see any improvement.

RE: Cell phone signal Booster ?

I have the WeBoost Drive Reach as shown in the video, plus a yagi antenna (Amazon) that I use on my own fiberglass painters pole (Lowe's).

RE: Cell phone signal Booster ?

I really like the 65 for getting a directional antenna way up in the air and aiming it right at a cell tower. Here's Weboost's latest RV booster.... but it's your choice. Weboost Drive Reach

RE: Newbie needs help with WiFi!

Yes, the plan is available for $20 that will connect to a newer car or truck, or they sell a device called a SPARK which looks like a Mobley to me.

RE: Elon's Starlink Internet Service

I'm on my Mobley now and every day.... the best deal we ever got Bill.

RE: Elon's Starlink Internet Service

I think Starlink is fantastic and will open up high speed internet to lots of rural folks that struggle with poor service now. It's fast already, but the word is that it will improve greatly in just a few more months.

RE: Newbie needs help with WiFi!

I have two older Mobley's that I use every day, but they are getting hard to find these days. The new AT&T device is the Harmon Spark, but it's not needed in many new vehicles.

RE: Newbie needs help with WiFi!

If you go to an AT&T store they can set you up with an unlimited plan for your GMC truck that will provide unlimited hotspot for your truck plus your RV. It's a car connect plan. It's $20 a month and mine works fine even in my RV.

RE: Hulu, or something similar?

I use an old Iphone 6s on Visible and it works perfect for me.

RE: Get me out of here! PLEASE

The I-40 route would be the best, if you love to ride for hours. The way I mentioned to Atlanta is less than 3 hours.

RE: Get me out of here! PLEASE

I take this route several times a year... Leave Cherokee on 441 S Left on Hwy. 74 to Dillsboro Right on Hwy. 23 S thru Franklin Which runs right into I-985 to Atlanta. A lovely drive with one section of 4-lane mountain road before Franklin. Simply Google or GPS Cherokee NC to Atlanta GA. Atlanta is easy.... just be there at 10am or 2pm and ease on south.

RE: OTR Mobile - GRRRR

My Visible service is fantastic.... I enjoy paying $25 a month for all the data I need.

RE: Escaping heat next summer?

If I lived in TX I'd head to the Ruidoso New Mexico area for cooler weather. I've watched the temp in that area every day this summer and it's been very pleasant compared to TX and AL. If I wanted to be cooler and do some fantastic fishing, I'd head to a little town in Idaho, and stay all summer.
