RE: Interesting Product Coming RV-DE-FENDER

It says backing plate is 1/8" and arch is 14 guage. Although I don't know if that would be enough to hold up to a shredding tire. Also I don't know how it would work inside the wheel well of the RV as it would move up and down with the axle and wheel (not connected to the frame or body of the RV).

Interesting Product Coming RV-DE-FENDER

Here's an interesting new product coming to help reduce damage from tire blowouts. Looks like it will be available sometime this summer. Thoughts? https://rv-de-fender.com/lets-go/?referral=2dfh8xf&refSource=copy

RE: Locking gas cap

The locking gas caps are mostly just for piece of mind. I had a used Jeep Wrangler I bought as a daily driver that came with one but no key. It was locked but a key wasn't needed. Just firmly squeeze the edges of the gas cap together while turning and it spins right off. Squeezing the edges together keeps the outer shell from turning freely when locked so you can still take the cap off.
