Starting a Full-time adventure and need guidance

Starting a full-time adventure for who-knows how long. Need some guidance from you full timers. Not, IMPO but real guidance. How to handle drivers licenses, tags, other things we might be responsible for that we are overlooking. Appreciate your thoughts

Dead house Battery

So, my systems monitoring is telling me that I have a dead battery. Could this be because the MH has be sitting for 5-months and only needs a charge? I always switch off the house batteries and also chassis batteries after going into the MH and I have also started and run the MH several times during that 5-months. Can't these batteries be tested and changed only as needed?? I have seen articles in the forum that said that if one battery goes BAD you should change them all. That doesn't seem practical, I do want to do the right thing. Any suggestions for where to buy the better batteries at a reasonable price? Novice seeking advise.

RE: We have to move

Try Central Park RV in Haines City,Fl. They are an OK campground with both pull thru sites and also have some permanent trailers on individually owned lots. 40-minutes to Orlando Disney World and all the sites in Central Florida. Very reasonable priced.

TOGO WiFi system from Winegard/ATT

Has anyone purchased and started using the TOGO on there MH yet. I like the idea of ATT's unlimited plan but still concerned with the service. We are planning full-time living and need/want the flexibility for programming and wifi searching. Appreciate comments..

RE: Fire Hazard Appliance Recalls UPDATED NORCOLD INFO 11-20-2010

Seems like Norcold is always having recalls. I had a 2001 Monaco Dynasty that burned to the ground back in 2012. Actually, after being checked for repair of the recall and confirmed "OK".....Scary.. Now have and will go with all electric residential fridge.

Class A Fulltimer freeze concerns

So, I have a Late model Class A which we plan to use as our home. With winter coming I plan to prevent frozen pipes by using our furnace to heat the unit. I understand that with insulated bays I need not worry about freezing. I do not plan on being in a freeze zone for any long periods of time but accidents do happen. Do I need to be concerned about our unit and plan?

Sticker Shock for general service

I have a basically new 2017 Newmar LE with 18,000 miles that has never been serviced since new. Wondering if its time to get service on the 340HP Cummins and Onan Generator? Any ideas on cost for service assuming there are no serious problems??? Can just any MH service center do this, and as efficiently?? Thanks in advance

Couch to recliners

Thinking of going full-time and wondering how easy to switch them out. Or, is it even recommendable? Looking at a entertainment style double recliner with center console with option for reclining. How much should I expect to pay and who would you recommend? Also, is there a market for the sofa after it is removed? Just looking for advise......

RE: RV Tank Maintenance

I'm going to try the Calgon and Dishwasher soap to see if it cleans the sensors. If not, we'll try the Happy Camper method..Thanks for all your responses!!

RV Tank Maintenance

Any ideas as to the best way or cleaner to keep my Sensors clean and not show incorrect readings. I sometimes empty the black or grey tanks and still get readings of anywhere from 1/3 full to 2/3-full. I have a macerator so ice cubes will not work plus I longterm camp and do not want to break camp to drive around juggling the tank contents.. I'm looking for a really good cleaner and dissolver that will do the job..

Newmar Ventana LE Recommended Tire Pressures

Running Michelin tires 275/75R22.5. Listed pressures seem high to me at 130PSI in Front and 120 PSI on rear...Is there an opinion as to what weights are best both for smooth driving/safety and diesel mileage?? Presently actual pressures on the unit vary from 105-120....Comments appreciated...
