RE: 2021 trips already being canceled.

During the 1918 Pandemic, the closest thing we know about to compare to our current scenario to,650K people died. The 2nd wave was the worst. It is said people had virus fatigue and were reluctant to shut down a 2nd time. There was also a 3rd wave in 1918. It took five years from the start for the country to forget about the pandemic back then We maybe following in their footsteps. Unfortunately life as usual is not around the corner. Why the Doom and Gloom? Let people be optimistic. What will be, will be. Let's all pray and be hopeful. LeRoy

RE: Towing 7500lb trailer w/ 48" stinger?

Well Andy, I only tried to explain what could happen. I am sorry that you took my response as a personal attack. It was never meant that way. I wish you good luck. Please continue to ask questions and offer suggestions on this forum. I will not reply to your comments any more. LeRoy

RE: Towing 7500lb trailer w/ 48" stinger?

If the trailer tows great with 400 lbs. of tongue why do I need more? Because under adverse road and wind conditions, the trailer front will bob up and down causing lack of control and traction. LeRoy

RE: Towing 7500lb trailer w/ 48" stinger?

For a gross trailer weight of 7500 pounds, the recommended tongue weight should be at least 750 pounds but not more that 1125 pounds. That kind of weight on a pickup truck with a 48” extension will make steering very difficult and may lift the front wheels off the ground when driving at highway speeds over real rough roads. I am guessing with the AF 1150, that the gross rear axle rating of your truck will be greatly exceeded. I certainly wouldn’t ever do that. LeRoy

RE: CPAP Automatic Cleaner -- Users Only Please

From the lack of Replies, I can only conclude that no one uses the so-called automatic CPAP cleaners. I like to again thank d3500ram for his response and his lead to: The Apneaboard CPAP cleaning-machines thread. This site never came up while I was doing my internet searching. Your lead was invaluable to me. I will continue to periodically wash my unit and call it “Good”. I consider this thread closed. LeRoy

RE: CPAP Automatic Cleaner -- Users Only Please

d3500ram, now I understand your comment. That's the conclusion I came to when doing my internet search. It is a sanitizer ONLY. Manual debris cleaning is still required. ResMed says not to use Soclean 2 because the ozone destroys their internal parts and voids their warranty. Now I will go read your referenced article. Thank you, LeRoy

RE: CPAP Automatic Cleaner -- Users Only Please

Are you asking for a machine similar to a SoClean? ... Yes, SoClean type. What features don't they live up to?

CPAP Automatic Cleaner -- Users Only Please

Please note that I will ask about specific brands in a separate thread. In this thread, I want to know: • Are they effective? • Are they reliable? • What features are needed? • What features should be avoided? • Are they worth having? • What chemicals are needed? • Should they be used daily, weekly, or some other time frame? • What maintenance is required? • Are there any additional things that should be considered other than cost? I have a ResMed CPAP with heated humidifier and an AirFit F20 Full Face mask that has a silicone cushion. Thank you, LeRoy

RE: Halloween Or Not

So why make everything soooooooo complicated. Let everyone young and old just have fun. As I understand it the Ancient Druids have gone to wherever Druids go. If there are still some hanging around as long as they aren't hurting anyone let them live in peace. AMEN

RE: Age old question....but??

Don't use Z brackets as they are difficult to remove when needed. Use alimunium angle, cut 2 pieces and bolt them together for your Z bracket. That is what I did using 1/4 inch stainless steel bolts to the panels and between the angles. LeRoy

RE: LifePO4 video

..... Man Oh Man ... look at all those little batteries and all those inter-connections that have to be made, and stay made, year after year ... or else. ... (In addition, there is a fairly "complex" BMS system required to take care of all those little cells!) When an RV'er is out and about on the far side of beyond, reliability of the RV systems becomes ultra important ... I believe that most production electric cars use this type of battery configuration (approximately 1.3 v multi cell batteries with a BMS) so this technology has been in common use for several years now. RE: Stabil or Seafoam for long term gas can storage?

... This forum, or group of forums, is so valuable. You'd think that those of us who benefit from the advice (and who occasionally offer our own thoughts) would all want to promote usage, rather than discouraging questions and comments. I get very valuable information and enjoy the discussions and comments. The problem I have with the "search" feature is that occasionally I can't think of the proper phrase or key word to use in the search box. Then I finally ask the question again but most people just jump in and give advice and even reference past posts which cover my question. LeRoy
