RE: Dometic gas water heater problem

Sounds like a circuit board issue to me. I would remove it and get it tested. Or just buy and install a new one.

RE: Black tank not draining!

After you resolve your issue and get the tank flowing again, make sure you keep the black water valve closed, and allow the tank to get at least 3/4's full before you drain. Using an application of Happy Camper will go along way to eliminating odors and keeping things fluid. Anyone who tells you that some sort of black tank treatment isnt needed is just plain wrong.
Been MHing 25 years plus, black tank odor and issue free!

RE: Class A Stabilizing Jacks

Why would you use a sealent to lubricate anything?
Anyhow, depending on what type of levelers you have, generally there is a grease fitting at the bottom of each cylinder where the ram retracts into.
I have PowerGear levelers and I have mine lubed yearly with lithium grease.

RE: For those towing with Teslas. Super charger tips. Thanks

How far can you tow on a charge
Kinda depends. I’ll speculate on around 240 kilometres....ish?
Wow, only about 150 miles? And you're only towing a tear drop.Obviously a ways to go before EV's become practical TV's....

RE: GETTING GAS WHEN TOWING

Flying J usuaaly has RV specific islands that have both gas and diesel. They are usually separate and off to the left or right of the main auto gas Island in front of the store.

RE: Class C Water Problem

The faucet aerator on the kitchen sink is likely plugged up. Simply unscrew it, clean it and reinstall. This is likely your issue.

RE: Road side assistance

Either GoodSam Platinum package or FMCA package will do. Service from both is about the same. Or I suppose you could go with Coachnet Roadside Assistance although they tend to be much more $$.
Some say the service is better but in my experience they are all about the same.

RE: Furrion Instant Hot Water in Cold Weather

My buddy bought a big GD trailer at the end of last season so hasn't been able to camp in it yet. It has the Furion tankless WH so next season will be interesting.
The trailer itself has less than stellar build quality and engineering. It has two leaks (so far), large holes in the bottom corners of the three slides (in or out) and common things missing like a porch light. Every time he shuts the door the whole side of the trailer jiggles and he's having a heck of a time getting GD to send him the missing bits and pieces he found during the PDI. Factory and dealer (Halterman RV) support is dismal. There are numerous shortcuts they took building this rig. - stuff you don't notice until you get it home.
This co. is not what it used to be and I would seriously reconsider before buying this brand.Hmm, your Buddy's experience is perplexing and contrary to ours. We spent 4 months camping in a 2021 GD Imagine 30 and it was one of the best built TT's we have ever had. Odd....

Why not stay at the track. Some campgrounds have full hook ups. Others it's dry camping. Prices weren't bad. Check out the Charlotte Motor Speedway website.

RE: Grand Canyon June 2022

If you haven't already reserved a campsite at the Grand Canyon National Park, I would do it today! I would recommend Trailer Village RV Park - South Rim. It has full hook ups and is right on the parks shuttle routes which you can ride to see all the sites.
Also, if you're planning to take a mule ride down into the canyon, book it today as well. The mule rides are well worth it.
The park and its attractions sell out fast!

You'll need to go further south to ensure warm temperatures. Try the RGV area. Mission, Weslaco, Brownsville. Lots of RV parks in your price range.
