RE: Exhaust manifold question

Could be an ignition issue. When was the last time you had your spark plugs and wires replaced?

RE: Shower Base repairs

We used Clear waterproof Gorilla tape to temporarily seal the crack while awaiting a replacement shower base. Took about a month to get and the tape did a fantastic job.

RE: 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel GelCoat

Caused by water getting in to the fiberglass panel core and freezing during the winter. will appear as little blisters or holes as water expands during freezing and pushes the top layer off. Likely water is getting in either along the top seam of the door or around any attached handle or lock.
To fix, eliminate source of water intrusion, use fiber glass filler like Bondo to fill holes, sand to smooth out repair and spray paint door matching color.

RE: looking for a camp ground in eastern N. Carolina for winter

Assuming you are a GoodSam member go to GoodSam.com, using the drop down menu on the top right select campgrounds, scroll down to get to snowbirds, click on learn more, search North Carolina by region. I found many offering monthly rates, etc.

RE: Niagara

Give Sherskton Shores a try. Only about 20 minutes to the falls. Great RV Resort with a water park, multiple pools, private beaches, restaurants, etc. We had a blast there with our kids.

RE: 2003 fiberglass TC not looking so good …now what?

If you really like it. Have it painted. Use a good sealer on the fiberglass and then whatever color for the paint. Wax will only last for a short time then it will go back to being chalky.
This is the best long lasting solution

RE: Are some kinds of TVs better for RV life

We have replaced our TVs over the years with TCL ROKU smart TVs. Have worked great, lasted over many miles and have great sound. The fact that they are inexpensive at Walmart is a bonus!

RE: Black Tank Treatments - Yay or Nay?

we tried the 'no chemical' way and did not like the results. we used Happy Campers waste treatment and were pleased with the results.
Us too! Happy Camper is the best! Been doing it this way for over 25 years now.

RE: Best Fridge Type

From what I have seen and heard, the newer 12V compressor models are the way to go. Especially if you don't boondock a lot. Just the increased cubic capacity and ditching all the issues that come with a Propane unit make it a winner for me. Most of the new TT's are equipped with these. Most are Norcold with service and parts readily available.

RE: Motorhomes with 19.5 vs 22.5 tires

I've owned 3 MH's. One on 16 inch, one one 19.5 inch and the present one on 22.5 inch. Every time we traded up to a larger chassis and larger tire size, the ride and drivability has improved. The 22.5 inch tire is the best by far.
