RE: Well, they're put away....

We didn't get to use them as much as usual this year due to campgrounds that were constantly full. Oh well, hopefully next year will be better and relaxing COVID restrictions will mean campgrounds will have some space. A wise man once told me that "hope" was not a strategy. If I was you i would start reserving now for next summer to ensure they have a space for you. I know I am....

RE: Tow bar options & instillation advice

Have had a Roadmaster and a Blue Ox tow bar over the years. I prefer Blue Ox hands down. Great after purchase service.

RE: Been a busy year

Man, your trip of 2020 and the review of the last year was a pleasure to read about. Thank you for posting. We're in our 5th year of retirement and loving every minute of it. Although we don't full time, we do travel at least 6 months of the year in our RV. Enjoy your future travels,

That is certainly YOUR choice. Me, I refuse to live in fear of a virus that kills less than 2% of those it infects. You are so right!! This is Fantastic news!! And yes, Safe to the Vaccinated.

RE: Non-level campsites Class A

Lift the front wheels off the ground is no cause for concern and won't damage the RV. Putting boards under the wheels will help to stabilize it a bit, but its not necessary. The one thing we do when traveling in our class A is book pull thrus in private RV Campgrounds that indicate level sites in their descriptions or reviews. This generally works.

RE: Battery Issue?

How old are your batteries? From what you describe, I would say they are toast.

RE: Hanging tiki lights

When we bought our current rig we gave up on the idea of hanging lights from the awning. It was too high to reach and being a weather pro it automatically rolls up if the wind picks up and such. I agree with way2roll, an LED strip installed on your awning is the way to go!

RE: Class C Onan Generator Exhaust Stack Issue

Too much back pressure with the add-on exhaust stack X2 And I believe I read somewhere that Onan does not recommend their use. I used one once and had similar issues. Got rid if it quick. No more issues.

RE: Class C Onan Generator Exhaust Stack Issue

Suggestions? Only one. Return the exhaust stack to Camping World for a full refund.

RE: Tires: Date Code approaching 10 yrs. Toyo or Yokohama?

I've got Michelins on my Motorhome, Toyo's on my truck. Both are great, would not hesitate to buy either....

RE: Hanging pictures

Adhesive back Velcro works really well. I buy the industrial extra strength. Apply both velcro sides to the picture frame, peel off the backing on the remaining strip, and then press onto the wall. Works fantastic and is long lasting. Our pictures have been up for years. Can easily be removed by carefully taking down the picture by wiggling it from side to side, and then slowly peeling off the velcro strip remaining on the wall.

RE: US extends border closure again

Extremely frustrating. I noticed that they announced November for opening to Internationals traveling in by air. Would be nice, and just plain thoughtful, if they would announce a date for the reopening of the land borders too.

RE: Gassing Your Gasser

I would suggest that you take advantage of the special RV fueling islands at FlyingJ. We too drive a gasser and refuel at FlyingJ whenever possible. They accommodate our MH and toad quite easily and we're about 63 feet long. Download the Pilot/Flying J app to view locations along your travel route. You even save 5 cents a gallon with your GoodSam card.

RE: Doghouse

Either from below, or thru the wheel wells, or from above by removing the doghouse.

RE: WiFi Camera always late to the action

Ring works great. No delay, videos stored on remote server so nobody can get them even if they get into your house.

RE: RV Refrigerators Cooling Issues

You should not be having issues with your new TT Norcold refrigerator not keeping things cold, quit working and warming up. I would suggest that you get it to a certified rv repair shop for warranty repair.

RE: Border News

Ed Gee wrote:Yes, the effects of COVID on vaccinated individuals are usually minimal....BUT YOU CAN STILL TRANSMIT THE VIRUS TO OTHERS! People keep ignoring this fact.... it is why even vaccinated persons should still wear a mask. Yes but if we're vaccinated, have a negative covid test before crossing the border, and wear masks and do everything every state mandates, what's the issue. And by the way, nobody is ignoring the facts.
