RE: Ordered new Goodyear Endurance & New GC battery install

I'm just curious.....why did you buy 3 tires instead of 4?

RE: Driveway Incline Issue

We used to have a driveway that was very steep. To back into it, I had to make a 90 degree backing left turn, and would also scrape UNLESS I approached the drive at the right angle. Try backing from different angles and/or use boards, as suggested above. Good luck.

RE: great river road

There is a decent CG about 4 miles south of Hannibal, MO. on the river road. Haven't stayed there in several years but it was quiet and shady, with FHU.

RE: RV registration in SD

You cannot have it both ways. If your new RESIDENCE is going to be AZ, then be a good citizen and pay your fair share in YOUR new home state.

RE: Ground material falling into lower storage compartment

The use of paragraphs and indenting would sure make your post easier to read.

RE: Pactola Lake campground & Sheridan Lake campground

As mentioned above, Sturgis makes everything fill up. Other than August, I think
Pactola would be toughest as it is smallest. Sheridan has more sites and you would have better chance. May not be on the water, but plenty of grassy sites.

RE: County Park Experiences

One of my favorites is a county park in Oregon with FHU plus a nice, clean shower house. Sites are huge, paved, shady, and sit on a small river. Last time there it was $20.

RE: Colorado Hwy 50 @ Monarch Pass

You could do it but you won't enjoy it. Traffic behind you won't care for it, either.
How 'low' does your lowest gear get?
I lived in Colorado for 22 years and towed over Monarch many times. I have seen several trucks that have gone over the side because they lost their brakes.
I would find another route.

RE: Fence for Dog

Petsmart and other pet suppliers sell folding metal pens that can be set up in many different shapes to suit your needs. Have used one for years with great success.

RE: Traveling with Propane on

Yes, we always ran with LP on UNTIL we stopped for fuel. I would pull over before we got to the station and turn it off at the cylinder. After fueling, I would pull out of the station, or at least away from the fuel pumps, and turn it back on. Then I would enter the TT to make sure the frig was lit again.
Safety first!!

RE: Best cell phone provider?

Wife and I have different carriers. She has ATT and I have Verizon, so one of us will have a signal at 99% of time.

RE: Quiet door latch

I agree with Wildtoad above. Now is the time to TEACH them how to do things properly. This includes manners as well as care of equipment.

RE: Dry camping in SW Utah

Arches N.P. and Monument Valley are not SW, but are in Eastern Utah.
