RE: Water pump runs continually

What was the resolution to the lights? Don't leave us hanging. Inquiring minds want to know Lol sorry… He had turned the faucet to the city water off because it pours out of some other tank. From what I’ve read it may be a bad valve on the water pump or something . I thought the problem was resolved when I turned the faucet on but then the water pours out so something else is definitely wrong.

RE: Water pump runs continually

Well now we are back to our original problem. When we turn the city water faucet on it leaks out around where the water filter is. I’m sure there is probably some kind of tank there but I don’t know what it is called. I forgot that was why we turned the faucet off.

RE: Water pump runs continually

I am unfamiliar with your rig, but if you are connected to city water, turn your pump off. You only use your pump when you are not connected and using your fresh water tank. By hooking to city water, you bypass your pump and water tank. This solved the problem. We are newbies so thanks for your patience

RE: Water pump runs continually

The most common cause of this type problem is, you have your City Water tank fill valve OPEN. This will cause the pump to continually recycle the water. I also assume it will turn OFF when requested to do so? From the Pump On/Off switch?. Now, if you are connected to City Water and that valve is left open, your fresh tank will overflow. You are new to the forum. ALWAYS, list Year/Make/Model/Chassis of RV when posting. Or put this info in your profile. Doug Liste the info I could in the profile. Some of their selections are outdated and don’t have years past 2020

Water pump runs continually

We purchased a used MH Sand are on our first trip with it. We are new to RVing as well. The water pump runs continuously. We watched a YouTube video about getting an open valve closed and went through the steps twice and it hasn’t helped. Is there anything else we can check before we take it in to the repair shop?

RE: How to turn off interior lights while driving

Sorry…this is a serious post. We bought from a dealer and they went through everything but it was so much info I can’t remember it all. Have the manuals but they don’t answer these silly questions. Thanks for responding. We will get it figured out.

RE: How to turn off interior lights while driving

No. I thought it was supposed to run on the voltage from the engine but it says no AC so it’s running on LP. I can turn the main light switch off but as I said it turns the fridge off too.
