RE: I-77 Between SC And OH in January - What to Expect?

Travel I77 from NE Ohio to Florida a lot. Have had some snow in the mountains, but never any issues. They keep the roads clear. Biggest issue we've ever encountered is accidents that block multiple lanes. Is a nice scenic and entertaining drive.

RE: T-Mobile Home Internet WOW!

Switched to T-Mobile and am dropping them. Could not get any data signal even though phone showed two bars and 4G coverage. Spent hour on phone with them and they even issued a 'trouble' ticket and said things would be fixed in 3 business days, that was 10 days ago.

RE: Why ? trailer jacks so tall ?

Having a similar tailgate issue since moving back to a trailer from the fifth wheel. No problem if I left the open fifth wheel tailgate on but don't want to do that since I am having to carry more things in the bed. Only need about an inch to clear the switches on the jack so maybe a longer hitch bar is the answer. But they are pretty pricey just to gain a couple of inches.

RE: AT&T no more Wireless Home Phone

That's what we have, jodeb720, and we've paired with the one cell that used to be our "landline." Took me a little work to make it work as our Panasonics are old but we will see.

RE: New wireless provider??

Just switched to T-Mobile 55+ plan. So far no real issues. For $90 a month we have two phones/lines and 40g data, but really unlimited as after 40 get throttled so they say.

RE: AT&T Mobley has Died. Need replacement Router

If anyone is interested, we have an OBD mobley and a ZTE wireless WIFI receiver/modem/router no longer needed as we changed carriers.

RE: AT&T no more Wireless Home Phone

Tried to swap the SIM but it was not recognized by my older iPhone. Looking at going in another direction. T-Mobile has a couple of good plans that would work for us.

RE: AT&T no more Wireless Home Phone

The AT&T WHP is not a 'land-line' as it is not wire connected.

AT&T no more Wireless Home Phone

For a number of years now we have been using a version of AT&T's Wireless Home Phone (WHP)service. It enables us to take our home phone with us when we travelled and kept our same number. The deal was good, $20 a month for unlimited talk. D/W preferred to use the Panasonic handset over our IPhone when making calls from our stick house or on the road or in our winter place. Well they did away with the service but being grandfathered we are okay for a while, until 3G goes away and our Microcell is trashed (in our stick house we get only one bar on the iPhone but WIFI calling works good). The WHP does recognize the Microcell so we get five bars. Question is, could I remove the sim from the new WHP device they shipped me and put it into an older iPhone we no longer use. The older iPhone has bluetooth and the Panasonic is set to accept bluetooth so I could pair them. Then I could put the older iPhone on WIFI calling and not miss the Microcell.

RE: Trouble with leaking around toilet flange

The WC flange is glued to the ABS pipe that connects to the black tank. Ended up epoxying the broken piece and then used a "repair" flange over the entire WC flange. Seal between toilet and flange was fine, but replaced it anyway.

RE: Trouble with leaking around toilet flange

Toilet in our unit began to wobble so when got home did the deed and removed it and found the mounting flange was broken. Flange is glued into the black tank so no real way to just r&r the flange. Looking for a good way to repair

RE: Flight 93 Memorial

There are some RV spots in the visitor parking lot. We stopped there several years ago and decided to stay longer and managed to get into a state park not far from the memorial. Well worth the trip and don't plan on spending a few minutes there. For those of us who were adult at the time it is a start reminder of how things were

RE: Lexington , KY to OBX, NC

Did this trip last September from NE Ohio. I77 to I74 and picked up us 64 all the way. Nice ride once you get past all the tri-cities area.
