RE: KOA Installing EV Chargers

I would think that there would definitely be a charge (no pun intended) for using the EV chargers. After all it is KOA.

RE: Camera/tire monitoring combo??

I would expect the market for such a device would be so small it would not be worth it to a manufacturer to develop and promote it.

RE: Fuel consumption too high?

That is what you will get towing. Perfectly reasonable.

RE: Dashboard gauges failure

Had something like that happen in the past with a motorhome. Hit a big bump and A/C quit and it was hot. Bump had dislodged a fuse. Pushed back in and all ok.

RE: AC doesn't keep up with heat

Well you have a 32 foot TT with a large slide. 13.5 Dometic will never do the job in that size of a trailer. I would think that even a 15k would have trouble keeping up. You are seriously under air conditioned in my opinion.

RE: Temptation to Buy a Chromebook

Have been using a Chromebook now for 2 years. Instant on an super easy to use. Very light weight. Highly recommend that you get one.

RE: Replacing 50A Electric Cord

You might want to check out boat cords. They are much lighter and more flexible.

RE: Towing a 42 footer… What do you think?

Had an 40ft 5er for 5 years and never had a problem finding sites in private or Provincial Parks.

RE: Membership "card"?

Just scan it and send it to your self by email so that you have it on your phone. Just leave the document in your 'saved' folder.

RE: Camper type wood burning stove for home...

Try looking at winter camping websites as there are a good number of small woodstoves that people use quite safely in tents. Various sizes are available and can be used for cooking.

RE: Would you back a camper for someone?

I too was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome and spent 10 weeks in hospital and rehab. I was almost totally paralyzed and could not even do up a button or operate the television remote. the GBS morphed into Chronic Inflammatory Dymylenating Polyneuropathy (which is chronic GBS) and now today I only use a cane when outside, and walk 30-40 minutes a day, and drive a standard shift car. It does get better (at least for me) by taking prednisone and infusions of immuglobulin every 3 weeks. Tell you hubby to stick to it. Hey I just got a new drone and license to fly. Also Google GBS support groups. Lots of good information there as well. Good luck on the backing in.

RE: Montana Front Living question...does the bumper hit often

I once had a 36ft Mobile Suites and it came from the factory with built in skids at the back. Only dragged on the skids once coming out of a rediculous steep and short gas station exit that I should not have used. Pure operator error. I agree that "this guy" either had a poor set up or operator error in where he was taking his unit.

RE: Towing with a dually or single?need help please

I recently towed a 40ft, 14000lb Mobile Suites for thousands of miles with a F350 short box singe rear wheel. Did not ever experience a problem with stability, sway or anything else. Truck was V-10 gasser and more than up to the task. Just let it rev, that is where it works best.
