RE: Border crossings about to get even worse

The link says DHS has 180 days to report to Congress how much it would cost and impact on safe times. It won't happen if they read the report.

Rockwood makes them up to 25 or 26 ft.

RE: Rhode Island to Disney Wednesday 2/10

GWB is free going south. It would be the quickest way to get out of the snow storm. I sometimes go 81 and sometimes take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel but the fastest way is 95. It shows in NY and PA and I waited a day once when the bridge tunnel was closed to trucks and RVs because of wind.

RE: Questions for Quilters

My wife became more and more serious about quilting. This was just one of the reasons we quit fulltiming (in our 40 ft Dutch Star motorhome). AND NOW, she needs a BIGGER brick house (not kidding).
My mother (93) has been quilting her whole life. She lives alone and likes to keep busy. She has made and given away over 1400 masks so far and it looks like she will never run out of cloth. She said she did run out of copper wire and had to buy some, she has material enough to last for years.

RE: DP or Gas? DW vs DH

When we were looking to go from a TT to an MH we found out that a good used gas can ride as good as and have less road noise then a cheap used diesel.
Yea Right. I have never owned a gas RV that rode as good as a diesel or was quieter and I’ve had more than most people.
The OP says he is looking for a 15 year old diesel. I looked at many junk gas and diesel MHs and a few good ones. At 15 years old he could get a good diesel but he could get a junk. You don't think a very well maintained low mileage gas could be nicer then a 15 year old never taken care of high mileage junk DP just because the DP has a rear engine and air ride?

RE: Tv problem

We did have a dish box in our TT. It was a long time ago but we ran a coax from the coax out of the dish box to the rear TV and the HDMI to the front TV. When we scanned the rear TV cable or digital or something I don't remember, but it would find one station. We changed the station on the dish box and it would change on both TVs.

RE: easy to use DVR

Our dish box in the MH will record antenna tv but the one in the house will not. They claim there is a tuner for it but won't say where to buy it. Maybe you should ask directv if they have a tuner for your box.

RE: Standard definition tv

But I want to put in a word about Dish: I have always had a good result with Dish customer service. They have been competent, and have stayed on the line with me for as long as it took.
This. We had direct for many years and now dish for about 6 years. No complaints with dish customer service.

RE: Laptop Stripped Screw ?????

The object of a left hand drill bit, if used right and you are lucky, is to catch and then unscrew the screw.

RE: Laptop Stripped Screw ?????

Hi,
Get a reverse thread drill if other methods don't work.
This and use a hand driver not a drill.

RE: free tv

If you pay for cell service to get Wi-Fi I would not call that free. Free TV is still free if you use an antenna. I think there is more advertising then anything else on all TV free of not. I also think life might have been better when there was only a couple TVs in town and 1/2 hr show once a week was enough.

When I went there it said "You'll have to wait until Friday to find out our favoritte parks of the year.", and that's how they spelled favorite. Maybe I'll look friday, maybe not.

RE: I-75 in GA - Accident Prone

In the year I was in Nam over 50,000 people in the U.S. died by auto. It's getting better, now less then 100 people did every day. You just have to plan on the crash to be there, just like a fuel stop but more often.
