RE: Turned off by campgrounds

When we decide which way we want to go we go. When we decide to stop we stop. If we don't like the place then we leave. Sometimes we stay a week or two, sometimes only a day or two. Sometimes, not very often, we don't stay at all. We have found some very nice places that we go back to from time to time.

what kind of truck is it? Some already have that feature.

RE: Power Steering issues

It sounds like the belt but if you already smoked it, it needs to be replaced. When the belt wears to narrow for the pulley it will still slip when tight.

RE: black water clean out connection leaks

And when the tank is full and you drive around it fills the flush line. If the line filled it could siphon out from the tank. Use the anti siphon valve. It lets air in to brake a vacuum but doesn't let water out, if it ain't broken. If you can't flush it out, warranty it or buy a new one.

RE: Used TT M?O ?

I think that dealers only sell shoddy batteries to customers that buy them.

RE: Camping World of Oxford - Anniston, AL: Complaint

I have never paid for a camper before the walk thru, except a small down payment once. First it should pass your inspection, then you do the paper work and right out the check. If it was always done that way dealers would start correct problems or go out of business.

RE: 2003 Winnie levelers

what kind of chassis? Our '04 adventurer on a workhorse has fuses under the dash. Flip up instrument panel. The light for the revelers won't come on until you set the parking brake, is that switch good?

RE: Transmission Drain Plug - Add On - Anyone done this

I changed the trans oil and filter at about 125,000 miles and the oil went in a drain pan. I will most likely change it again around 200,000. I don't think I need a drain plug for one use and I don't think I will still have the X at 300,000.

RE: two type chargers connected to one battery

I don't know about your charger but I have had two chargers on one battery a few times and never had a charger go bad.

RE: Returning

What do I do? Stop ordering things you don't want. Maybe you can find a camping world that does stock it and get them to take it.

RE: Ford Focus Toad

I have an elantra and the hitch is (I forget) maybe 14". Blue ox wants the tow bar no more then 3" off. With a 4" drop the towbar was 4" off level which is close enough for me. The car is light and I didn't want a drop hitch any more then 4".

RE: No brakes

I did that just 2 years ago. With the TT brakes turned up all the way I went to a camp ground on Cape Cod, got a ride to the parts store and replaced the brake line. I only used the parking brake twice. I explained what happened at the campground office because we didn't have reservations and they gave me a spot easy to back into and with room to work.

RE: Spring is coming. Punxsutawney Phil

They said he didn't see his shadow but the weather man said it was sunny. Sounds like politicians to me.

RE: Just a rant about workmanship in RV assembly plants

As long as people want to buy a camper for half of what it should be worth, they will keep making them.

RE: Help preparing for first long distance RVing vacation

You don't need to do anything different on a long trip then on a short one. Make sure you have enough meds and don't hurry. A few 10 hrs days can be done but it's not a vacation it's just going somewhere to rest because your tired when you get there.

RE: Fancier isn't always better

We had a few manual awnings and we liked them. Then we got an automatic one. It was different and had to come in at times. Now we have another manual awning. I say whatever, if I'm not in the shade I can move my chair and if it rains and the awning is in I can go in, so, whatever
