RE: full timing

I don't full time but have done repairs in a campground, with permission. Service has been done in relatives driveways when we have been away a long time.

RE: Difference in receiver styles

I don think you can use a WD hitch with that little thing on the bottom of your picture.

RE: washer/dryer

I don't have on but I bet it would work fine if you didn't fill the gray tank or run out of water. How much water do you use for a load?

RE: Dexter Nev-R-Adjust hub out-of-round

Anyone that can turn a drum can turn your drum, where the brakes ride. The part where the magnet rides is a different story, not everyone will, or can do that part.

RE: removing antenna ??

Winegard says to lube it twice a year so the seal doesn't dry out. I would think that would be easier then taking it off and covering the hole.

RE: Prescriptions while on the road?

I do the same with CVS, it has worked everywhere so far.

RE: carburetor float failure

Carburetor floats can be fixed, repaired or bought. You don't need to buy a carburetor to fix the problem. If it quits the fuel pump will stop. If it doesn't start in a few seconds stop at see why. Not much fuel is lost when it isn't running.

RE: Can I put a sprocket made for a keyed shaft on a D bore?

"I guess the worst case scenario is that the set screw would score the shaft of the temporary motor?" I think that is your answer. Drill a small hole for the setscrew, but not on the flat spot on the shaft.

RE: No Warranty on your RV? Don't buy new?

We have bought 3 new and 2 used. We never used the warranty on the new ones because they didn't need work. We had to fix the used ones a few times but they cost way less then the new ones. Every deal is different, every circumstance is different.

RE: Stay off the ice! 3 Trucks and TT go through ice into lake.

My father use to deliver sand to cottages, to make or fix a beach, on a couple local lakes where the only access was by water. in the 80's was the last time I used a tractor to clean the ice for the kids to skate. Just like everything else, Ice ain't what it use to be.

RE: Worst RV Brand List

Some people spent a lot of time finding the cheapest whatever they can find and then after they buy it they complain that it's cheaply made. Our last two TH were Forest Rivers, one we had 9 years and one 5 years, no problems with either one after many miles.

RE: Old propane tanks on new RVs

It not the factory, they come without tanks. The dealer did that to you.

RE: Continental Tires PSI rising 20

Sometimes when a tire is mounted by a rookie, he will use an excessive amount of lubricant to get the tire in place. All of that excess lubricant/moisture may be in your tire and causing your temps to increase a little higher than normal, since you did not have that issue with your other tires. I am reading pressure went up not temp. The OP said "20 degree rise of the psi" so is that degrees or pressure?

RE: No more full size cars from GM

My wife has an older Taurus (2013) and it only gets about 22 MPG, but it's a four wheel drive.

RE: Blue Ox Tow Bar

The installation instructions for a 2019 ranger base plate make it look easy. No plastic to cut, no holes to drill and only the skid plate to remove and reinstall.

RE: Blue Ox Tow Bar

I installed two Blue Ox base plates so far and thought the installation instructions were very good. About the only way I see to get the nuts inside the frame is with the wire attached. Before I ordered the base plate for my Elantra I called Blue Ox because a coupe wasn't listed, they put a tech on the phone that told me which base plate to order.
