RE: Night stops with RV

We don't have a schedule and we don't make reservations. When we want to stop driving we almost always use a campground. They are everywhere so you don't have to look very far. We just stopped at a state park in SC and it is so nice here we decided to stay a few day.

RE: Looking for a comfy chair..

I have a push back recliner and the back comes off. My wife has an electric recliner and the back comes off of that. My sister in law had a lift chair and the back came off of that. I bet you can find a chair that will fit thru your door.

RE: Bike Hauling Question

We got the kind that lets you take the front wheel off in about 10 seconds. When we had a tent camper we put the bikes inside it. With a trailer we put them in back of the third row seat. They lay flat with the front wheel off, put it on the bed.

RE: Can't bring TT home because of neighbors parking in street?

When he moves his car, park your car there. When you want to bring your trailer home you can just move your car.

RE: What size hole on hitch

The recommended drill size for a 5/8" (.6250) slip fit pin hole is 21/32" (.6262). ASME says 21/32 is the right size hole for 5/8 bolt for a close fit but 21/32 is 0.65625

If money was no object, my rig would already be good to go, it wouldn't need anything.

RE: Progressive RV Insurance and Windshields

I called the local glass place that has done motorhomes before. The called progressive and then progressive called me. Progressive sent the glass to the local shop here and they came to our house and installed it. That was 3 years ago and our insurance did not go up.

RE: More Bourbon Recipes

I agree with wildtoad. "Take two ice cubes and place them in a small glass. Cover with your favorite Bourbon"

RE: Older Motorhome

We have had our 2004 Winnebago about 3 1/2 years. We fixed the dash AC that we knew was bad. We had to fix the leveling, one rear axle seal and rear brakes because a caliper froze up.We did most of the labor but the parts cost about $1500 so far. So that comes to about $40 a month since we got it. What class a could we get for $40 a month?
