RE: AT&T cellphone coverage In Nova Scotia and currency question

Your serious? AT&T doesn't work in half of Maine either. If you can't afford to pay a roaming charge in an emergency maybe you shouldn't go so far from home.

RE: Sliding closet doors keep coming off the track, how to fix

You just need something on the top of the door so it won't go up. Just a small piece of anything right next the roller.

RE: Cannot find a new TOW vehicle with 373 gears

The raisin 6 speed low gear is so low you won't know the diffferance taking off. Your MPG might be better with the 342.

RE: Making a road trip & got some extra's

I thought the post looked like one HUGE hunk of sarcasm and had a good chuckle. But since it seems that it wasn't intended to be funny......if a thread ever begged to be deleted, this is it. I still think it was meant as sarcasm and I also got a good chuckle.

What kind of car doesn't have a CD as an option?

RE: Service nightmare, is this typical???

That would not be acceptable. Why do people keep using dealers like that. If everyone that complained went to a different dealer these places would eat her change there ways or go out of business. You say I hate the way they treat me so I'll dive them my business when they aren't busy. There are many good dealers out there.

RE: Wiring a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid for towing

When I did our hyundai the wire colors were wrong and I just used a test light. Turn on the parking lights and find out which wire is hot.

RE: Cable, Air, switch

if you are hooked up to cable, put it on cable. If you want antenna, put it on air. The light is for the antenna booster and should come on when you put it on air.

RE: I-95 Stopover South Ga. / North Fla.

Live near you and we go to the Fort in Dec also. We leave Friday and stop at Jacksonville north koa, have free breakfast provided by the campground then fuel up across the street and be at the fort around lunch on Saturday . That is what works for us each year. we also stop for overnight and breakfast, right off the exit.

RE: Generator starter problems

you might get more help if you told us what kind of generator it is. Koehler made many different models.

RE: Airless tires

Works good with construction equipment,if you have more weight use less holes. But the ride is not good.

RE: Tuning Out Generator Vibration Drum

The link goes to a weight on a stick not a mount.

RE: Realistic Budget?

Some are way off one way and some way off the other. We live out in nowhere and like to do things when away from home. Dish is about $55 a month. We were gone 6 weeks this spring and spent about $1200 on fuel and we eat out about once a day at about $50 a day. I have a hot spot on my phone for $40 a month and can't use half of the 2 gig We don't count anything we spend at home. Ins, groceries, hobbies and stuff like that we would spend anyway so it doesn't cost any more when away.

RE: Tuning Out Generator Vibration Drum

They have been hanging under cars for 50 years or more, nothing new and yes they work.

RE: Florida to Maine

87 north to 84 or 684 north to 84, then 90 to 290 to 495 to 95. 691 over to 91 north and then back on 84 gets you out of most of hartford. There are endless ways to go, that's what makes it fun.

RE: Class A - Gas vs Diesel

There are some gas MHs that will beat a diesel up a hill but they aren'tnt race cars. Are you in a hurry?. More storage in a diesel most of the time and some gas MHs are quieter then others. Will you spend more time driving or setting?

RE: Older Doggies

I never brushed any of my dogs teeth and they have always been fine. If they eat the right food I think their teeth get cleaned enough. Our cavalier is 11 and has congestive heart failure, he's been on meds a little over a year now but is doing OK. If he walks to far he sleeps for hours and he doesn't jump any more, doesn't even like to climb stairs. If he is happy, let him be.

RE: Has anyone used oil bath hubs on a TT?

You may like the oil bath on your track machine but there is no reason for it on a small TT. MUD won't be coming in the doors and they aren't drive wheels. The bearings in the TT should go about 25 or 30 thousand miles before they need grease.
