RE: Lifetime updates for Garmin GPS

Our Garmin Nuevo must be 15 years old at least. Last year I tried to do a lifetime update and they said there was not enough room for the whole USA but I could get south, or east or etc. I went with one without the northeast and it let me. I didn't try this year.

RE: Winnie Adventurer and 50amp

Our Winnebago Adventure with basement air only has 30 amp. Both compressors work if not much else is on but if you run too much stuff it sheds one compressor.

RE: Where to place jack when changing flat tire?

Where I use to work we sold equipment trailers, 6 - 12 ton. They came from the factory with no tires and stacked up with blocks of wood under the axle at the spring. Most had dexter axles, 3 and 4 ton, same as most campers.

RE: Where to place jack when changing flat tire?

Under the axle right where the spring is attached. If the bolts don't damage the axle, your jack won't. Just don't jack from the middle of the axle, only where the spring is.

RE: Maybe This Name Would Reduce Posting Confusion

If everyone read the description on the front page you wouldn't need a name at all. It tells you what forum to use.

RE: ATT doing away with satellite TV

We get a few OTA channels not many. There is no cable on our street and the only cell that works is ATT with one bar sometimes (if you hold your mouth just right). Our house is in the country but not the booneys. If we cant get cell service between Boston and New York a lot of people will stop watching TV

RE: Another ABRUPT Braking Situation

The drivers manual use to say you should be able to stop in the distance you can see. You say you were "really powering into" and "blind curve", I don't think you were paying attention.

I just did the same thing last week on our MH. I also hung the TV on a swing down mount.

RE: Way to Filter HWH Fluid ?

My HWH manual shows a filter in the tank on the suction side of the pump with no provisions for easy removal. If HWH isn't worried I don't think we should be.

RE: Do you drive with your propane on?

We leave the fridge on all the time. The arguments about driving a propane powered car doesn't mean anything because they have no open flame like the fridge.

RE: Converted Stove to push button ignition

They also have a single button that goes up to 4 igniters We did the 4 with 1 knob and put the 4th in the oven.

RE: Avoid Tip O'Neal tunnel

The DOT published a book untitled "how to use the hazardous material regulations CFR 49 parts 100 thru 185". That is 20 pages, the regulation is hundreds of pages.
