RE: Who writes these headlines?

The one I saw last night was a recall for a candle in a jar. When the jar got hot it would shatter the glass. My question is who makes this stuff?

RE: water heater drain mod

I don't know why you would "fight with the water heater drain plug" you just unscrew the plug, maybe 10 sec if you have the socket in your hand.

RE: Never get lost.

I can do that with Waze and Google maps as well as a few social apps. Not sure I understand how it's unique.
Their website says
Google Maps doesn’t make it easy to share a location in the middle of, say, Central Park or Hyde Park to organise a meeting point, and usually isn’t helpful if you want to navigate directly to a specific building entrance. This is because when entering a street address into Google Maps, a pin typically drops in the centre of a building or postcode, rather than an exact entrance.

RE: New to us 2006 Winnebago

Give us the model number and someone will tell you where the inverter is, and which outlets have power from it. My fridge goes off when my L.P. tank gets filled and that the only time.

RE: Toad Service ??

A $15 reader won't do a battery reset but some $150 ones will. You can put in a lead acid battery if you get the right one and tell the car what battery you put in.

RE: Traveling with ebikes

We put 2 bikes in the back of the car. I got an ebike ( and she's getting one) but it won't fit in the car. I didn't want it out in the weather so now we pull the pickup and the bikes go in it. The cover seems like it would be a pain.

RE: Fresh Water System Sanitizer

I didn't open the link!
What is worse is that used as shown does not sanitize the fresh water tank.
It says to fill the tank with this bleach dispenser in the hose. It seems the same as putting the bleach in the tank for free.

RE: Fresh Water System Sanitizer

Or you could just dump the bleach into the tank, or into a hose if you can't find the gravity fill on your tank.

RE: Oven ignitor

Our pilot stays out for months at a time. It goes out when we get the tank filled and when we put it away for a while.I would love to leave my pilot on like you, but during auto tank-switchover it goes out, and of course, always at night. Then I wake up to gas smell.
When the pilot lite goes out the gas going to it shuts off. Why would you smell gas?

RE: Oven ignitor

I got the lighter with the battery in it. It had 4 spade connector and there were only 3 burners on the stove. I got the igniter for a grill and put it in the oven. Turn the knob to pilot, hold it in and push the button on the igniter. Our pilot stays out for months at a time. It goes out when we get the tank filled and when we put it away for a while.

RE: 3126B Code 71 and then 15 and 39

39 is an injector accuation pressure malfunction but 15 is a sensor fault. Check the wire harness or maybe a bag senser.

RE: Collapsible ladder?

I didnt like the revies on the cheaper ones that fold to nothing, plus you need to lean them on something. I found this, not confterble for using as a job ladder but perfect for the camper. I put it in a vinyl fence post c clamped to the the rear bumper. Works great, and I can trim a tree if the campground neglects stuff. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009IJUL4O/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They make them with steps on only one side too. Here

RE: How to cap an old roof antenna hole?

You could get an antenna for about $100, and that wouldn't look bad.

RE: Thoughts on the Cost of RVing

I don't know what kind of math the OP is using but if he got 5 MPG and gas was $2.50 he would spend less then $2000 on gas. 30 nights at $50 is $1500. We spend the same on food and cloths when away as we do at home and our light bill at home is way less when we are away. Where does the $6000 number come from? I hope the OP gets better then 5 MPG.

RE: Ford has released their 2021 towing guide

I had a 2004 ford SUV, with 3 rows of leather and an CGRW of 20,000 lb, 19,500 doesn't sound like much for a pickup.

When you buy it ask during the walk thrugh. Easiest way is to turn off the switch. What kind of water heater is it?
