RE: Robotic/Computer total knee replacement is a game changer

My mother had one hip done and the other one 5 or 6 years later, she said the operation and recovery was like night and day.

RE: Bathroom Dry Pipe

Every camper we ever had the water goes down when you flush the toilet. If you want more water you move the pedal, or lever, the other way.

RE: Did I ruin my water heater, please help!

There is a lot of stuff running your battery down even when everything is off. Rather plug in the camper to keep the battery charged or disconnect it to keep it from going dead.

RE: WHAT dinghy or toad is good to tow ???

With so many toads to choose from, the OP should get what he wants to drive around when he gets where he is going. Sometimes we take the ranger pickup, put the automatic transmission and transfer case in neutral, that's it. Sometimes we take the 2 door elantra, put the standard shift in neutral and turn the key one click to unlock the steering. No fuse to pull, no running the engine, no need to stop after X number of hrs. There are many cars that are easy to pull.

RE: Dish Network receiver question

I had a 211k in the MH when I switched the house chrome direct to dish. The installer said $7 more on the same acc. He got the set# and turned it on. I have a hard drive plugged into the 211k so it is a DVR.

RE: Poor workmanship -- Entry Level VS Higher Price ????

If people keep buying the cheapest RV they can find, that's what the manufacturer will make for them. You get what you pay for. If you get a cheap one don't complain later that it is made cheaply. What was that saying, "A poor man buys everything twice"

RE: Teaching Your Spouse How to Pull a Trailer

If she wants to learn, she will, if she doesn't, no one can teach her.

RE: Max length definition

Some places don't like the tongue sticking out in the road. If it says the site is only 25' long I think it means a TT over 25' would not fit.

RE: The sad part of pet ownership

We had one die when we were traveling and we drove two days to get home and put him under his favorite shade tree.

RE: Times Up, Told You So, DirecTV is Dead

We live 30 miles from Hartford and have no cell service. No version but AT T out on the lawn. My mother lives one town over and has no cell service but she has cable. My sister lives the next town over and she has no cell service. My brother lives in NY and has no cell service. We have no cable on our street. Satellite is no going away until cell service is a little more available.

RE: Times Up, Told You So, DirecTV is Dead

When will the internet come to the country? Cell coverage handles 99% of the need already. They can't justify the cost of running a satellite system for 1%. When will cell service come to the country?

RE: AT&T internet bundled with DirecTV

We had directv for many years and switched to Dish a couple years ago. Directv sends these flyers in the mail that would take me an hour just to read the fine print. The ATT store says I can't have directv in my camper. It seems they don't know what they are doing, I'll stick with dish.

RE: MH Manufacturer of Choice - Poll

I got a used one. It drove good, had a good CCC and I could afford it, that was the best part.
