RE: TST 507 tire monitor system

Thank you all for the answers. I am about to upgrade from the 510 system. I am OK with the performance, but not the battery life of the sensors. The 510's are not user replaceable.

TST 507 tire monitor system

For those who own this system, what is the sensor life you are getting? How long do the batteries last? And are you happy with the system? I have the 510 system now, but want to be able to change my own batteries. Thanks in advance for the answers.

RE: Your experience with a Dually vs SRW hauling 5ver

I have a 11.7K lb fifth wheel. Pulled it with a SRW 3500 for years, and now a 3500 DRW. Won't go back, and wouldn't sell your dually to buy a SRW.

RE: EZUP Canopy - Truss Repair

Go to the beach. People break these every day, and maybe you can find a part from a broken one.

RE: Safety chain U bolts necessary?

I use the u bolt to run a cable thru to lock the hitch in the bed.

RE: Need good quality but inexpensive in line check valves

One thing to try, if you can open the check valve up stretch or replace the spring to make more tension.

RE: Quick Cool Ducted Air Distribution Box

There's 2 black straight blade screw heads inset into the air intake side. turn them 90 degrees, and it should come down. Hinged on the other side.

RE: CAT Scale question

The one that's pretty even was probably your truck. No truck has a 200 lb steer axel.

RE: Shocks

rhagfo, you will like the new truck. I went from a 2001 2500 to a 2009 DRW Dodge, and it's just a lot easier & more relaxing drive with the trailer.

RE: Differential covers 101

I never considered the fluid flow, but it makes sense. The upgraded Dodge cover is pretty much the same inside as the regular steel one, so fluid flow should be similar; however, it's aluminum & finned for better heat dissipation.

RE: Differential covers 101

I saw the Banks videos parts 1 & 2, but couldn't find the third part. I did upgrade my Dodge 3500 to the upgraded Dodge diff cover. Glad I didn't go with one of the others now.

RE: Aftermarket LED Awning Lights

I bought some off Ebay for $18. Cut them to length needed. They had sticky tape on back of them, so just peel & stick. Routed wire to them from battery power. Look nice & work well.
